So I hear no one checks general; that is fine, I kind of prefer it that way.

I see a lot of activity on here and honestly view way more than I post. I've been really irked by the way you all communicate with one another and/or describe your present dislikes of now. I am very positive and open here, and I've posted topics here before and got extremely constructive and positive replies, whether in my favor or not. I don't know why everything is handled that way here.

There are fans here that have valid opinions, they're not britards, and they are not haters either. This is a forum about Britney Spears. We should be able to post and reply however we want and be civil about it.

If you can't resist saying something nasty, or offensive with your opinion don't say it at all. If you can't help what you say do yourself a favor and leave all this, and figure it out and get yourself together.

i'm a fan since BOMT, but i'm not a hardcore stan and of course i do not like everything she does or every song she releases and i'm 24 so i think i can speak my mind without being attacked in a really rude way by kids

Lol I turn 24 next month!! I agree though, you have a right as a fan to say what you want! Enough with calling people out of their name, making fun of them or just acting rude towards people who you disagree with.

I know what you mean. For some reason it's easier to be dramatic as it brings a lot of attention tho those who want to be more recognized as stans. Having a civilized conversation on the Internet isn't cool anymore despite the fact that we're a 17 yo fanbase. But it's something that neither one of us can change. Maybe it's because the Britney Army went through a lot since 2007... I don't know. I personally don't like how this era has started, I don't even feel like there's a new album on its way. It's kinda frustrating you know. One the one hand you have people who are disappointed a bit due to this weird promo or bad decisions Britney's management makes and on the other hand you have fans who are happy with the way things are going but the tension is there so they'll attack everyone with a different opinion. Not saying all of them act like this but you get the point.

 

As a fanbase we're far from collective which is our biggest weakness. And this is what comes with it.

Idk whats happening to forum lately, i think its a lot flophale members registering its really weird tbh. A month ago everyone was super nice to eachother and now all of a sudden ppl got rude and shady so i comment less and less cuz i dont wanna get caught up in mess of nolifers i hope things will get better tho

which i dont understand tbh. just because you love an artist doesnt mean you have to be 100% ok with everything he/she releases or says. i bet the song would be better without iggy. whatever i cant wait for the new album.
