Yeah, like some people have said the problem is not that we have to wait for two days, that's nothing! For me the real problem is that they're failing to promote the MV and the song in general because Britney hasn't even tweeted about it, so my hopes are on the headlines that the actual video can create. But yeah, what I mean is that her team needs to keep hyping the song somehow, because ever since the Ellen appearance last week we haven't gotten anything! And I know that the performance is comming, which is something great to look forward to, but it takes nothing to make a couple of instagram videos or to do an interview in some talk show or something like that.

Sorry but how i feel is Britney's team, yes should give confirmation yet were going to get the music video soon. Maybe their plan is to wait until after the BBMA's? We don't know anything but to call Britney and her team lazy yet again for not following through with a release date they themselves didn't confirm is a bit stupid. Like so many other threads have said it's been a week, calm down. Yes, i know some of you are still healing from the BJ era but it's a new era and we don't know the real layout of how this is going to go. But i do know the OP is right, calm down, it's no big deal!

the mv will not come out tomorrow or thursday. the silence isn´t normal.... pg will flop like hell. it is out of top 35 and radio will forget about it soon... i don´t want to be so negative but pg is dropping on itunes like a rock. in germany it is out of top 200 ...wb was 40 for a couple weeks........

I personally don't care about it, but if people want to see her have success everywhere, including the charts, then it's certainly a big deal.

I feel like if the single was a song with actual artistic merit and/or unique sound (for example: Everytime, TOMH, Heaven on Earth, Tom's Diner, etc) then fans wouldn't be as worried about charting and promo. Quality over quantity, right?

But with a song like Pretty Girls, it's obvious it was made to just be a pop hit with little thought put into it. So fans expect more, and rightfully so, then the "meltdowns" (I'm so sick of that word) occur when things get messy.
