I just watched the performance and eh. Expected more. However it was cute but idk guys. I really think after the vegas show Britney may release some singles but I think she truly wants to retire and be a mother, a "normal mother" and why should we be angry at this? We as a fanbase should want her to do whatever she wants to keep her happy, her time of shocking people with amazing dance numbers and excentric performances are over. No one will ever really take her place in that place of performing but I just dont think shes that happy performing anymore and I feel whenever someone mentions this on here you all just lose it and attack, nows the time to just be chill and calm and just realise it or think about it.

People need to stop defending it. For the starters, it was prerecorded so they had TIME to make it good. They could have edited it to make it look better. They could have even redone it. It wasn't live so they could pull more strings. And we got this mediocre performance. 

 

Like you said, most of her Piece Of Me performances are way more polished and better than that. Which is a shame cause this is what people are going to see, nobody really cares about her doing the Work Bitch or Break The Ice breakdown during the regular show. She did look stunning but that's about it. 

People need to stop defending it? Are we not allowed to like the performance now or what? 

Just like I'm respecting and accepting that some people didn't enjoy it as much as I did you should also respect and accept that for some people the performance was great. We're not blindly defending it just because we're delusional or anything, we're defending it because we genuinely liked it!

I´m happy tbh that some people liked it, and as I said I was just expecting something different... the looks and attitude were there tho

Considering Britney's dancing abilities they could have given her a far more difficult and better dance routine this one was plain boring tbh but yeah her energy was flawless and she was in a super good mood like i said, on 1 to 5 i give it a 3.5

I agree. I was expecting a lot more from the choreography. It was cute, but too simple for what Britney can do.

I honestly don't know what to think. Yes, Britney looked HOT. Everything was on point: body, hair, outfit, attitude. Even her dancing was more than ok.

 

It's just the overall impression that leaves me wanting more. The camera work and editing is one thing (I don't know why they focuses on her upper body so much) but the fact that it's wasn't a "real" award show performance makes me rather sad. What I like is the reaction from the audience, the faces of the celebrities in the audience, the cheering at the end. That was all missing.
