I think Hannah Lux Davis could do an amazing job with Britney.
Her music videos are usually very colorful, cute and sexy. Plus, she's a Britney fan!
You can see in her videos she's really into the pop culture and the 90s/early 2000s aesthetic.
She started in the business few years ago and already have an amazing videography  :awkwarddd:
Some of the videos she directed:

the dude who recorded christinas "dirrty" and "cant hold us down" tbh

Both videos were directed David LaChapelle that also directed Everytime & TOHT commercials. I really would LOVE Britney to work with him again. He always do magic!

Omg shes a badass director , is she new at this? I would like to see Brit with her & or Hype Williams

IKR!

She started in 2006 if I'm not wrong but she's a well known director nowadays. She has worked with so many important artists already.

What I love is that she's young female(Females aren't well respected as director in the industry yet and this girl is getting her place which is so admirable) with fresh ideas and knowledge of the pop culture from 90s/Early 2000s. She said in a interview that she grew up watching TRL and Britney's videos and that's what inspired her to become a director.

O wow , so not only does Britney inspire the new generation of artists but directors as well ? Thats some Queen shit tbh. Hopefully Britney comes out with another song soon & I'm crossin my fingers Brit works with her. Honestly I'm not a fan of Jessie J but that "Burning Up" video caught my eye, it's really good. The way that she captured the dance scene was badass ! She didnt even cut out the main choreo unlike Britney's last 2 directors

If you check out her videography you'll see there's a lot of dance in her videos. She's really perfect to work with Britney  :crying1:

And she knows about makeup & fashion which is a plus! :lips1:

Imagine a Tom's Diner MV in a 50s diner but with a retro futuristic aesthetic from 90s/2000s directed by her  :crying5:

Interesting fact about Jessie J, Hannah didnt actually apply and compete with others to be the mv director, Jessie personally asked her to direct her mv because she loves her work :tbh: jessie is the queen tbh i love her, supporting all the females in the industry :mhm:

These days I've been actually thinking that I would love Britney to do a video like Sparks, but for like a 3rd or a 4th single, something simple but colorful and fun. For a lead single she needs something big and spectacular, I don't know much about directors and that stuff but this girl seems great, I love the music videos she's done  :)

I would also love her to work with Ray Kay again! I like the visuals in TTWE, with the slow motion moments and stuff like that, and his other MV's are really good aswell.

Yeah, Ray Kay is fab too!

Melina Matsoukas is pretty good too:

Anthony Mandler

His list of videos is way too long tbh , but he did almost every Rihanna videos, and videos for other artists are very cool too imo.

He did Come And Get It :o

I say yes to this

Yes !!

He also did Ride by Lana del Rey , i love that video !

And the Rihanna videos he did are her best videos imo, like Only Girls, California King Bed, Rehab, Diamonds...

I think for Britney he could do something very cool (and urban and faded :pieceofwhat:

And i usually don't like Justin Bieber but he did As Long As You Love Me and that video was great imo

I don't know why but i feel like his work always suits the artist and their image very well tbh.

Everyone here had good picks so I wouldn't mind any of those directors. I love love love the Sparks music video, so something colorful for Britney would be fun, but including something a little different in it at the same time to make it a signature "Britney" music video would be great.

Francis Lawrence would be good too. He directed the Slave and Circus music videos and has done other iconic music videos like Bad Romance. Both of his videos with Britney are my favorite music videos, so maybe that's why I gravitate towards Britney working with him again.

I would totally be here for her to direct a Britney video!  :nowaygif:

Also Paul Hunter (MATM, Take It Off by Ke$ha, Come On Over Baby by Christina, Lady Marmalade) and Diane Martel (3, Love Sex Magic by Ciara, Genie In A Bottle by Christina, My Neck My Back (Lick It) by Khia :pieceofwhat: )
