Idk , he already mentioned in a interview that Britney couldnt do a video for it (which means he probably tried to put it as a single but didnt work out)

I would die for an artsy fartsy video directed by David LaChapelle.  Just something introspective, deep, yet simple.  Giorgio said it wasn't going to happen but the better it does on ITunes, they higher the chances are.  If it was # 1 on ITunes all over the world that would def help the cause.

Video or no video, he'd be insane to not give it a radio release. It's not like any songs on the album have a real chance of smashing, but TD has charted in several countries and gained a lot of praise from critics.

 

It'd be beneficial for both of them - it's a lot more mature than PG, and the gp should be able to see the artsy-fartsy side of Godney

It would make the most sense to release "Tom's Diner" as a single, it's the highest charting song from the album and the only one garnering attention.  But ultimately no it will not.
