"tom's Diner" Video Concept

If they decide to put "Toms diner" out as a single w/ a video, the concept should be like this

Ok so I know according to the "Tom's Diner" lyrics Britney is ment to be the customer at the diner but why not do a twist? Britney could play a badass sexy waitress that takes no shit (kind of like Daisy Duke)

This could be like a toxic 3

Britney & her boyfriend are working at the diner , Britney is the waitress & her bf is the one thats running the orders

She takes the customer's order & he orders coffee, so Britney takes the order to her bf & she waits for the coffee. Once he gives her the coffee its only filled half way & before shes about to complain about it , a Woman that Britney's bf cheated on her with (Brit doesnt know he cheated) walks in and Britney catches her bf staring at her

Britney then begins to give that woman the death stare. So Britney Ignores it & begins to pour the milk in the coffee & gives it to the customer

Britney then notices that her bf is not no longer running the orders , so she goes behind the counter on her way into the kitchen and busts her bf & the woman making out & having sex .

Britney ends up givng that woman an ass wooping and knocks her out . Then Britney apologizes to her bf & tells him "let me get u a drink so that you can relax"

Britney goes to make his drink an ends up putting poison in it & then gives it to him

As he begins to tumble & fall slowly catching his death , dishes begin to fall & break

Britney then leaves the kitchen and the customer is caught staring at Britney in a weird way , so she beats his ass and also ends up knocking him out and she ends up leaving in her car at the end

It would be cool if Britney did a video like this

as the lyrics, from the original writer were based on a comment from her friend who said "he saw his whole life through a pane of glass, like he was the witness to a lot of things, but was never really involved in them."

 

and that instagram pic she posted, where there was a ghostly figure, its as if she was saying, she sees a lot of things but arent involved with them like she should be.

 

thats the deep meaning of the songs intention.

Tom's diner has a mystic, dark vibe and it should be translated in a similar concept.

 

I was thinking something like this:

 

Britney could play a normal woman who has been going to that diner for years for her morning coffee before her boring job in a company where she just makes photocopies. People don't really pay attention to her and is practically invisible and the same happens in Tom's diner where she usually struggles to get the attention of the man behind the counter.

 

One particular day, the same thing happens all over again. This time the guy behind the counter even acts like he can't even hear what she says ignoring her in a really annoying way. She then listens to a woman coming inside the diner saying that an actor died the previous day while driving his car and he also killed another unknown woman who was crossing the street.

 

Britney realizes that a creepy man dressed in black (probably death himself) is staring and when she turns around there is hole with blood in her head.

Britney was the unknown woman that died in this car accident with the actor. However, because Britney is an invisible person in her every day life she still hasn't realized that people can't actually see her for real this time because she is dead.

With Tom's Diner Britney have the chance to express how she feels. Seeing people doing ordinary things that she can't do because of fame, being the "observer" for once, form part of the people somehow.
She should be sitting on a corner in incognito watching how the history it develops while she says(sings about) what she's seeing. 
What would make the video more than iconic is if Giorgio plays the waiter and Suzanne Vega(or Britney herself with a wig & different outfit) plays the woman who comes in.
The MV should be more like a mini-movie with a deep message, imho.

I want a strong mv. Like, something excellent after the mess PG mv was. Like, seriously, she needs it bad. All I want is that they listen to what she has to say and actually create a mv based on the concept she has in her mind. Toxic mv was her idea and it is her best mv to date. They should let Britney do what she wants to

I love this, much better, mysterious and deep. 

The OP one is fine but doesn't really suits the mood of the song and it's just too basic. The restaurant thing and the poison it just reminds me of Telephone which i don't like at all. Plus Britney knocking out the girl, and then the guy, i don't see her in that role and it wouldn't suit the song anyway. But that's just my opinion.

Wow...that was the kind of creepy and dark I had in mind. Even the man in black is like that and the fact that you can't even see his face...PEFRECT!
