For The Record Was Made Last Minute? Freestyled Choreo?

i feel like they made the FTR in like a very short amount of time. i know there's a shit ton of footage out there but i think for the direction they wanted to do, they waited till they got the very specific point of view . but it feels like that was all done very rushed and in only like a couple of days.. i mean we don't have that much footage, it's only a couple of hours long so if they filmed a bit every day, they got themselves enough footage. i don't kno why that might be... im actually doubting the rumors about there being a lot of footage (i mean where do these rumors start? anyone got further details?) but i think what we really got was done very quick, i also think britney had the biggest say in it and what got released but it's mysterious to think about.

 

one thing i really wanna point out, is that i feel like she was freestyling her choreography... it was supposed to be her rehearsing for the circus tour but when we actually got it, it went nothing like it. and that makes sense cuz when she's being filmed, it just looks like she is dancing by herself in front of a mirror in her room.. it's kind of pointless. like her dance routines don't seem to have a clear purpose and were not meant for public to see at a tour or performance for example..it's not actual tour rehearsals..just my speculation tho..

 

the only convincing dancing part to me is the mannequin of course but even that seems like it was all her own moves and what she made up (PURE SLAYAGE THO and even better if she created herself!!) but not professional and high quality if u kno what i mean. look at some of these gifs, and see if maybe u will see it too?

also i had the same feeling with IAMBJ... it's a little upsetting as a fan cuz we really do not know what goes on behind closed doors and what her life is really like and we can get told anything they want us to know (her team and britney herself) so it never really feels like we will ever know the true person that is britney spears.. u kno? and i wish we could.. at least a little

They filmed FTT for 30 days & they started filming the day before the vmas .. It wasnt rushed

Heres the thing they have to go according to timing since they were filming for mtv, mtv goes by timing since they have other shows airing and such .

So when u are timed u basically squeeze as much footage as u can into that timing , so ofcourse the left over footage that was left over got cut.

I just feel like instead of Britney doing it for mtv she shouldve did it with Oprah . The thing I like about Oprah is that she makes sure she gets all the footage, even if she has to add parts throughout the airing

For example with lindsay she had so much footage that she had to make a part 1 & and 2

This is part of the circus choreo, the actual circus choreo not the walking choreo in the circus tour...

Also the circus choreo is one of Britney's most iconic choreographies EVER...how can you say it was put together under a sec?

 

For the record was released in November 2008. The womanizer and circus music videos were shot in September and October accordingly which means the rehearsals started earlier and could be properly recorded to be included in the documentary.

The circus tour started in March 2009 and by the end of 2008 they hadn't even settled with the choreographers that would do the choreographies for the tour. (Britney rehearsed barely a month for her easiest tour in her life)

Which means that there is no way you would see tour rehearsals in there...

 

You haven't given a solid example why you think it was shot at the last minute and you are not making a point...

sounds like you just want to believe like it was rushed to buy into the hype that nothing Britney does is genuine anymore. You give no solid examples, it's all your opinion and clearly you haven't watched the circus video or else you'd easily be able to spot the choreography.

It wasn't rushed at all. They have tons of footage and obviously they couldn't show everything. The rehearsal for Circus Tour started way after the for the record release. Britney started rehearsing for Circus Tour in late december and january. The routine she was rehearsing with Andre Fuentes was just for the Circus promo and to get her body prepared for the tour

Have you even watched FTR ? Actually, are you even a fan ? Nowhere in FTR she's rehearsing for the tour. And the 1st gif if you had watched FTR you would know she was just joking around. And the 2nd one is the choreo for Circus MV. 

 

Also, what did you expect, of course we don't have all the footage, they won't and can't do a 30 hours documentary or something. Are you dumb or what?

I just feel like Britney is never being upfront or truthful with us as fans you know? Since I'm such a big fan I feel like she should tell us everything, like what shade of brown her shit is and what her favorite sex position is since her breakup with Justin. We could have gotten some footage about that but no, all they did was keep it professional and give us an inside peek at how Britney was getting back on her feet post 2007. I feel totally ripped off as a fan so I'm gonna go stan for Ashley Tisdale now...

wow thanks for such a negative response. i honestly don't understand all the anger u have towards me. i haven't accused britney of anything and cannot understand how my topic was negative in any way... but this was really upsetting to read. .. ur hate was really unnecessary

wow u r an asshole.. i cant believe i just read that... i thought responses like these were left over at exfail.. guess i was wrong.. the trolls have registered on here too .. why are the majority of britney fans one of the worst people u can meet (some of them,, not all)... this is seriously the only fanbase that is like this..   i can't get an intellectual answer ever..

If you want me to get intellectual on you then FTR was a very good documentary and no it doesn't appear that they threw it together last minute, far from that actually. It seems very carefully calculated IMO to show us how she was getting back together. She didn't fully address the breakdown in great detail but she gave us enough to understand how she felt at the time,she was still and I think still is to this day a big work in progress. As far as her choreography I'm pretty sure most of what we saw ended up making it to a tour and/or music video and as far as the other dancing that you said just looks thrown together, I think she usually does one off choreographies just to warm up and get in it zone.

oh im sorry this thread was upsetting to read. it was really not meant to sound negative in any way.. i guess im not good at expressing myself through words, people seem to misunderstand me. yea i might of looked into it too much i don't kno.. it just made me suspect all these things cuz of 2007 i guess.. cuz like u said, the breakdown was never really addressed.. maybe i was overthinking. i also think the documentary was brilliant, the only things i felt a little wierd about were what i mentioned but they were not a big deal
