Britney's Album Titles

I always thought that Britney's albums had the worst names.

I mean most of the time they are either named after a track or given her name in different versions.

That's not always a bad thing though, especially if the title is a good representation of the album's theme.

 

The album title that I've always hated was either Blackout or Femme Fatale. The first one fits the album but sounds lame, the second one makes absolutely NO SENSE AT ALL...

 

My favorite is "In the zone". It was inspired by a track and because the album is not a mixture of unrelated sounds but has a consistent theme, it makes sense when you listen to the album.

I love all of her album titles, I think there's a really good meaning to all of them but my least favorite is Britney Jean. I voted for Femme Fatale because I like the sound of it and I think it fits the album

I think she has amazing names maybe expect self-titled records and first two which are so basic and simple - nonetheless they fit extremely well with the lyrics and sound direction of both albums.

I love Blackout because there are many meanings behind the word. We have Britney's own interpretation, we have her own life which was reflected by the title and the word itself has several meanings (a temporary loss of consciousness, a suppression of information) and in fact all of them were addressed in the songs (or the booklet). FF comes second for me. I discovered this trope, Femme Fatale, in 2010 and fell in love with it, then Britney made it her album title and I was really glad.

I voted for Femme Fatale cause it's fierce, it makes sense actually cause Britney has always portrayed a femme fatale in her music videos, too bad she actually wasn't a Femme Fatale during the era.

Blackout comes second it has different meanings and it represents the album.

Original Doll or The Original Doll would have been her best album title but it was scrapped.

Ooooh, gotcha. I misunderstood. I thought you meant the actual words "Femme Fatale" didn't make sense or something. But yeah I see what you mean, it doesn't really fit the theme of an EDM/dance album with songs about dancing and love.

I forgot about this. Imagine if she still ran her own website and posted things like this? We hear so little of her own genuine thoughts these days, sometimes I forget she used to post diary entries and stuff on her website

My fave album is definitely Britney, but since we are rating the titles, im gonna go with Femme Fatale. 

The title is so original im not even kidding, and it describes her perfectly, she truly is a femme fatale when they announced the album name it slayed me, and up to this date i think its one of her best named albums

I like In The Zone because Larry has said several times that Britney gets 'in the zone' when she's performing or recording and it fits her so well

Now I'm not saying that because I LOVE THE ALBUM, but just because I like the meaning of the title and it makes complete sense and fits Britney

My vote goes to Britney Jean. Severely underrated name. I've always loved her full name so when I heard the name I was slayed!
