I'm not sure if someone already posted this, i've been in and out of the forum the past month but I did mention in the whatsapp group about two weeks ago...not sure if anyone paid attention

The Mystery Show is a fairly new and very popular podcast where the narrator Starlee goes on "quests" to solve some bizarre questions and mysteries people have. In her second episode, the entire episode revolves around this photo/candid:

Sorry about the shit quality, it was posted on their twitter, I don't know the exact date this was if yall have higher res. pic.

Britney is leaving a restaurant with both her parents, in her hand she is holding a book (they discuss how it's odd she took a book to dinner lol).

The author of this book is VERY obscure and in general her publications do not sell. She happens to be a friend of Starlee's. She mentions this incident, how she was emailed this photo back in 2008/2009 that showed Britney Spears holding her book. Since then, she has ALWAYS wanted know simply what Britney thought of the book (if she read it), and how the hell this book got to Britney.

Starlee goes on an extensive quest for the answer in her podcast, which is linked below. It's really interesting to listen to if you haven't already:

Tell me what you guys think once you've listened!

It is so amazing, I don't know, the part where she says they were all taking 3 seconds in their meet and greets, I'd cry if I see that happening, I wouldn't have the courage to ask her that when I see no one else is chatting with her. And the fact Britney remembered the book, and aaaaah it's fascinating. And the phonecall with the girl at the bookstore and the guy from ticketmaster hahaha I even liked Andrea.

Thanks for sharing the video! I hadn't seen that yet. It's such a cool story - especially for Andrea who loves her, to just wake up one morning and see your book in Britney Spears' (leaving a restaurant) - a book that was even just very difficult to get ahold of since it wasn't a massive seller.

I love Starlee, I love how she engages everyone including strangers into these deep conversations. I wish I had that kind of personality to just be so inquisitive. Listen to the Source Code ep and also the Vanity Plate one. It's a neat series, when my friend told me about it (not a fan) she said I had to listen to it because it was so interesting.

Probably I will. It was definitely more exciting and interesting that what I thought it would be.

At first I didnt wany to listen to it but then I got curious so I pressed play ...I didnt like it/her (podcast/starlee) right away but kept listening.... And I ended up loving it/her.

Britney's mysteries are fascinating but somehow I get a weird feeling when I do some research and I hesitate a lot to inform myself on her past mysteries. (1.Because it's her past 2. Because its scary sometimes)

This was no exception, I got goosebumps all along it was weird and exciting.

I don't know why but this got me thinking,

I feel like Britney is so misunderstood. People think she's dumb but what I see in her is so powerful, she seems so smart to me, I can see it in her eyes. There's so much we don't know about her. Anywaaaayyy, Britney is really special. <3 Thank you for posting it!!
