I have the unpopular opinion of LOVING the first 7 songs on the album (especially GODACHE!) and then HATING the rest of the tracks! I think of it as a FLAWLESS EP! Body Ache has a cool breakdown (even though I typically despise that sound)... tbh I always thought TIG was miles better. It was always my favorite when the album first came out. 1

Songs like Alien and Perfume make me feel better. Yes, the album has the worst production of her career, cheesy breakdowns and repetitive lyrics, and vocals not by Brit... but it does have good moments. Alien, Work, Perfume, HOT, etc. It isn't her best in some ways, but in other ways I do think it's a solid personal album. Fans make it worse than it actually is IMO. OMG MINE TOO

I get that there are some great songs, but one of the worst parts of the album is that even the best work on it has shit production and even worse vocal production. Alien could have been amazing (like the demo), but the CD version is so weirdly pitched and has a freaking audio glitch, and songs like BMS and HOT where she finally showcases her vocals are produced to sound like she's singing underwater. It's not just a bad album by Britney's high standards, it's a bad album pop album in general. 1

LMAO just wait 'till Hybrid sees this. 1

Britney Jean deserves every bit of shade it receives, this isn't some under-appreciated gem, it's a full on mess. I will never understand why some fans truly believe all the lead vocals are performed by her. It's abundantly clear Myah Marie is doing more than "background vocals" her voice is sliced, diced, or straight out replaces Britney's lead on every song except "Perfume" and "Don't Cry." It's very insulting, not only to fans but to Britney as well. Her team employs a soundalike backup singer who not only can imitate notes in her range, but can hit and sustain notes beyond it. Britney hitting a C# all of a sudden?
