Just like how groundbreaking Perfume was going to be, only because it was Sia's song? britney_spears___just_a_riff_by_pokemons Or the PG/Fancy situation?

I really can't tell a song is gonna be as good as something previously released by the same writer/producer, except for Max Martin maybe, who always delivers hit material, that surely it's gonna be catchy, but still they don't sound all the same.

She's a song writer tho, Britney's song (if it's not rejected) will probably sound nothing like that because it won't be the same producer.

Britney worked with the producer Ian Kirkpatrick so if you want a taste of what the song will sound like, you should listen to the songs he produced and not listen to the songs the writers Chantal Kreviazuk and Simon Wilcox wrote.

Great point, tbf.

He produced two songs on Hilary Duff's groundbreaking Grammy-worthy industry-changing album Breathe in. Breathe out. and they are sadly the weaker tracks on the album.

Night Like This is okay but nothing amazing.

Outlaw is just a typical filler.

He produced plenty of rock songs though so this could explain Britney's "rock inspired vibe" for B9, we'll have to wait and see. I can't stand Want To Want Me by Jason Derulo.

And Chantal Kreviazuk wrote and produced these

  • Avril Lavigne Under My Skin
    • "Together" (Avril Lavigne/Chantal Kreviazuk)
    • "He Wasn't" (Avril Lavigne/Chantal Kreviazuk)
    • "How Does It Feel" (Avril Lavigne/Chantal Kreviazuk)
    • "Forgotten" (Avril Lavigne/Chantal Kreviazuk)
    • "Who Knows" (Avril Lavigne/Chantal Kreviazuk)
    • "Slipped Away" (Avril Lavigne/Chantal Kreviazuk)

She's only co-written them. Which means the production is up to Ian Kirkpatrick who is quite frankly mediocre. Plus the lyrics to AKA by J.Lo are a mess.

I really like Night Like This, it's one of the song i like the most in her album tbh , but i can't stand Outlaw.

Want to want me is ok, i'm just tired of that song since i hear it all the time on radio :drown:

But i feel like he's a versatile producer so we'll have to wait & see. I just hope it won't be anything edm even if it's just few elements.
