Does it really matter if Britney never has another hit song? I know we all want the best for her but she has already had more hit songs then most others ever will and they are more remembered and still talked about years on. I really believe Britney does what she does now for fun and her fans, not for the popularity.

As for the people talking about the lack of promotion she travels back and fore to Vegas when not doing that she is working on an album plus whatever other projects she has and when she is not working she spends quality time with her boys, all this while working around her exes schedule since he has primary custody of the boys.

To do more promotion Britney would have to cut back on things like Vegas, the album or her boys, in other words what makes her happy, as a fan I want happy Britney not the Britney that is being dragged from one event to the next for the money!

Britney actually has primary custody now, but they still need to work together to schedule equal time for the boys. But I 100% agree - Britney's happiness is above all. She's had, and continues to have success throughout her career. She doesn't need to have a number one song to prove that

Didn't know Britney had primary custody, reading that made me smile for her :)

And you are right when you wrote that she doesn't need a number one to prove her success.

If I'm not wrong she's talked about it before that she's at the point in her life where she doesn't really care much about success and all that. She's done it all and has nothing to prove. She just wanna makes music because she loves it and also wants to share it with her fans.

But obviously most fans want more than that; they want what they think is the best for the artist like chart success and having lots of exposure even though that's not what exactly the artist really feels is important which is like Britney's case, especially when she's been at the top and the IT girl for so many years. Now when she's not anymore, they feel like they need to uphold that image back or something. In other words, they want her back on top.

Personally I understand how and why they feel like that because I do feel the same way but at the same time, we don't always get what we want. And we need to learn to accept the fact that Britney is happy with just how things are right now for her. As fans we should just accept and respect that, and be happy for her! :)

Honestly i don't care about success, but when the songs aren't even that good.. what's left ? I'm fine with a song being a flop but in that case it better be a masterpiece ya know.. Problem is right now, her songs don't have success, and aren't great so..

If she wanna do generic songs then she better move her ass to promote and make it #1 , as a generic song is supposed to be, if she doesn't then she has to release great not commercial music so we have at least something really good. But she can't just release shitty songs and not promote.

And please i would like if you would stop acting like Britney has a very tiring schedule tbh.. She has like 8 months of vacations in a year thanks to Vegas, she's clearly not THAT busy and can find time for 2-3 LIVE tv performances, it wouldn't kill her ya know, and if it's really such a big deal for her to let her kids for few hours , she can do it while she knows she won't have them.

Im not necessarily bent on her TRYING to be #1...its a diff era she had her peaks she's been in the industry for like 17 years as of 2015...so idk why ppl get SO PRESSED when she releases a song & its not automatically #1...ppl need to get that any release in top 40's for Britney is successful in this industry now esp with her being the last of a 90's era breakout thats still dope...AND all her albums are top 5 thats pretty fuckin amazing....BUT i do think that just because she dosen't yearn to hog the spotlight doesn't mean she shouldn't put the proper effort in her craft like she used to...and i just think if she did she'd automatically get the #'s she deserves off rip, cuz she's a pop genius and she's Britney Spears

Well all just need to get over PG already , britney did obviously

Anyways , it would be very nice for brit to get a hit single again. I would very much like that

Yes it nice how u guys put it saying she doesnt need a hit and that shes done so much already.

The thing is as fans we are the ones that are left embarrassed and having to put up with other fan bases which is quite annoying, it would be nice having to throw something in their face for and not having to throw stuff from the past

Thank you for proving the point that people don't want hit songs for "Britney's legacy" but rather to complete with other fanbases :orangu: fan wars are so 1999, I think it's time to grow up from that because nothing these new pop bitches do will ever compare to what Britney did and does

THIS!!!!!! And also about this fan base lemme spill some tea real quick  :bitchplz: ....I hate when Britney fans talk about what they want her to do in terms of music & talk shit about other fans expectations & list of ppl for her to work with who ACTUALLY has extensive knowledge on producers, songwriters etc...mind you those same fans don't listen to ANYTHING ELSE but their one ass genre nor do they know of any producers portfolio of music but proceed to make commentary like "uhhh idk about that producer, do they have any hits?" "Ughh i want Britney to do a Ray of Light" like bitch BYE lol you will destroy Brit's career if you had any say :ohno:

I fully believe some Britney fans just want number ones and say things they think will get that number one rather than caring about Britney growing and experimenting musically (even if they calm that's what they want)

PG was not even that big of a flop. It was #29 and has 80 million plus views on YouTube ..... Not a flop to me , especially since thousands of artists out there dream of having just one top 40 hit. I think if pg would've came out a year ago it would've been a huge hit. I just tbink Iggy has destroyed her image and oversaturated the radio and ppl were just over her, not Britney.

I understand where ur coming from , Im just saying it would be nice if she had another hit thats all.

No other pop stars can not compete with what Britney did , you're right on that one. As far as what Britney does I'm gonna have to say youre wrong on that one because Brit doesnt do much now in days (no shade just keepin it real )

Well, almost everyone was on PG dick when they first heard it and when it didn't get to number one, it became a flop just like Britney Jean. The issue is everyone likes the music before it goes on the charts and when it debuts under the #1 or #2 spot, some want to call it a flop or that the song sucked. That's the problem. Britney could sing a song about shitting on the toilet yet if it went to number one, people would be bragging about Britney's hit song. Even if the material sucked, it being a #1 song is all that matters.

But the point is Britney is experimenting with her music now. That means hits and misses. And frankly, i like new music because it shows she is still wanting to do this, but she is gonna do it her way and at her own pace, not the way everyone wants her to, even fans for that matter. Britney Jean was a good album with poor lead singles. ( even though i love WB and Perfume, for that kind of album it should have been other songs.) PG was ok but as a  generic song, it wasn't going to go far. But before they were released on the charts, the fanbase loved them. They brought excitement and energy here but damn be the moment they hit the charts and fail to get a top ten spot and all hell breaks loose on Britney.

And sorry, thats just not right!
