from my understanding (I haven't actually read it though) she is limited in North America, maybe just U.S.

 

from what I recall reading international shows, performances are not restricted

 

plus, with the consent and endorsement of PH, it is also possible

 

having said that...I cant say I expect that will happen, just that it is perhaps possible according to her contract

It was probably just one of those 'say what the interviewer wants to hear' moments.

 

Although I will say, she did seem quite sure of what she was saying for a mere 'Yeh, Sure, Whatever' type moment... this could just be due to her being pre-prepared to answer though. "Britney Spears doesn't have any plans to come to China!" isn't the most exciting interview description.
