No youre missing the point and not seeing things clearly , this girl is throwing in the race & body card ! How do female black artists not get acknowledged? When in fact half the category is black. Beyonce is just as curvy and black as Nicki as well as her dancers and she is nominated in that category . How are we gonna throw in the race card when in fact Anaconda already has a nomination .. my point is those videos didn't break any records (Miley's did, but Anaconda broke it) and then those songs, artists, and vids didn't get nominated for anything this year and Anaconda and Nicki did. So she really shouldn't be complaining. Granted I do like the Anaconda video and think she does deserve it, but lets face it at least she got nominated and has a chance at getting an award than the other artists do

Miley Cyrus's wrecking ball did not mention drugs or sex tho which is why that particular song won an award. That's because Rihanna hasn't had any iconic music videos, it has nothing to do with race

I don't see why the video didn't get the nod for video of the year because everyone knows it, whether or not you like it (and i didnt like the video either). point is this, MTV probably did all this snubbing in an effort to piss people off so they can get mentions and promo for this whack ass awards show, and they did. no matter how much we all love britney, you can't deny the fact that anaconda probably should have been nominated in more big categories. i dont think she's blaming britney for anything, all she's doing is using britney and robin and miley as examples of how its ok for white artists to be raunchy in videos and get the accolades for that but when nicki does her version of that you label porn and smut and trashy. tits and ass is tits and ass no matter how it was filmed and who was filmed showing it. if its ok for britney and other white artists to go to their version of raunchy then it should be the same for nicki. that's all she has been trying to say this whole time.
