And Britney fuckin slays at em. Most times, an artist will lazily choose a rapper to fill in 8 bars of half-hearted drivel before coming back for one last final chorus hurrah, but homegurl Brinni knows how to channel the intensity and flow of a song into an awesome and fulfilling bridge: What would Stronger be without that atmospheric bridge, filled with woozy synths and Britney crying out "awwwrahhht" off in the distance? Imagine Get Back without that intensifying bridge, where, as the synths climb ever higher and higher up that awesome minor scale, she's gettin us really hot with dat iconic cooing before bringin it back with Danja Who could forget HIAM's iconic dubstep breakdown, a electroclash hammering that exposed, for better or for worse, Skrillex as a stan? Even in Brinni's enormous back catalog of unused material, she's shown her prowess at bridges. Take the piano + industrial breakbeats of Unbroken, which represent the 8 sexiest seconds of Britter's FF era So many of Britney's songs have awesome bridges that really make the song! Even your average B-side or deep cut, like Rock Me In and Seal It With A Kiss, are transformed into great stand-alone tracks by a bridge that adds drama and dynamism to Brit's flawless pop formula. It's literally an orgasmic climax tbh. And Danja made the final version sooooo much better than the demo, so glad he added that climbing synth line!
