OMFG !!! FUCKING YES !!! I honestly think Aaliyah type of sounds would go perfect with Britney .. Especially since they almost have to same voice structure britney & aaliyah have that soft calm not over the top voice structure that suits these type of songs perfectly

Although her voice really fits this style, I don't see Britney doing such a pure r&b record. I see someone like Tinashe doing this stuff, but not Britney. Maybe something like 'No Scrubs' by TLC could work for Brit.

 

Either way, that's some serious old-skool stuff. I'm pretty sure the new Britney "urban" sound will be something like 'Worth It' by Fifth Harmony or 'Talk Dirty To Me' by Jason Derulo. Just like 'Pretty Girls' sounded a lot like 'Fancy'... I hope I'm wrong, tho
