:crying5:  @ your whole post.

This album was not only a success on radio but also jump started the pop-dubstep trend that followed.  So I don't get the "generic" slams against Femme Fatale.  It really was a forward-thinking pop album that incorporated various styles of dance in a cohesive manner.  Lyrically there wasn't much progression, I can agree with the criticism there.

Preach.

I'm praying for you when Album 9 comes out and we only get one promo performance

Lol, I've accepted the fact that she's not going to promote as much anymore. I love her and always will no matter what. I'm still here after BJ, after all, where she did zero promo performances.  :P

It really is my favourite era/album. I don't understand why people hate on it so much, it was so good and so well thought out.

I like this album too, I actually think this album compliments Blackout very well.  I mean if BO is the soundtrack to a bomb ass night out on the town, then FF is what you play before everything goes down, setting the mood. I can still listen to this one all the way thru with no problems.

as if Brazil was a determinant of success....in present standards it does ok

Brazilians did they job and made Britney more popular at the time in the country, so that's what matters to me.

It was the soundtrack of the entire Spring/Summer for NYC gays.

I'd say that's pretty successful and iconic.

Still bitter that FFT didn't come to MSG. Really wasn't expecting that…thought tickets would be announced/on sale later (that's what happened with Return of Spice Girls) and I was NOT going back to NJ or even LI for the show.

Missed out irl…loved the tour videos though. IDGAF if the vocals were "pre-recorded" - they FEEL more live than DWAD or Onyx.

She did well because the singles were more radio-friendly which gave them more radio support, fans were more motivated to help make the songs hits and she had massive hype off the back of the Circus era.
