Since it's both Piece Of Me and Oops turn to get their certifications and lots of threads about it are coming I thought about making a nice thread about both. This is Oops thread :)

Hopefully this thread will help to get the certification, know all of us here a little bit more and have fun reading stories :P

Here's mine:

It was late 2008 and Womanizer was EVERYWHERE. That's how I became a Britney fan. It may not be the most appropiate music video for a 10 year old but I was crazy about it and it led me to find about about Britney. I knew a few songs and that was it tbh. I watched all her music videos, watched performances, listened to all her albums, watched interviews and within a week or two I was already a fan :2:

I had heard Oops before but I had never watched the music video (flop me I know :idc1: ). I remember mom heard me listening to this song in my room and said she remembered when it came out and how my back then little cousing jammed to it.

The music video slayed me SOOO much. I totally asked mom to style my hair like that and used a red catsuit (rain suit  :lmfaoo:) and danced to it and well.. I still do tbh.

My friends LOVE the song. We asked our gym teacher if we could bring CD's to play during the class and a girl brought Oops and I almost died of excitement :excited:  BEST CLASS EVER

The making of the video is also as iconic as it can be

Now thay y'all are feeling nostalgic go watch the official music video. Feel free to share your story with us :tybow:

Well, I was born in 98, so I was around 2 when Oops came out. I never got to experience full Innocentney, my earliest memories of Britney were post-Slave. But I had this janky VHS with the Oops video on it and the BTMYH video too. I watched it so many times lol. Well, around early 2013 I became interested in Britney, so I downloaded all of her videos, and I remember watching Oops and just being slayed all over again :Godney: :Godney:

I honestly don't remember much. I was 8 when this song came out and I remember dancing to it at my cousins house and my cousin was laying on her bed like Britney lays down in the video and was like "she does this in the video" lmfao

I also remember, because I went to the Oops tour in Hershey, PA (it was my first concert) that she did all her songs and that was the last one and everyone went nuts because everyone was kind of waiting to hear it and I remember people selling towels with the oops cover on it and IDK I really wanted merch but the line was SOOOO long (I don't think this venue expected the concert to be of that magnitude and the sheer chaos that ensued in there (like they put out LAWN CHAIRS in GA where I was and I was crying because I couldn't see because people were STACKING the lawn chairs on top of each other to get good view LOL) - a nice security guy let us move into the bleachers because he saw how upset I was :)

Omg people here are so young :crying1:

I was around 9 and I heard the song first time on the radio and when my best friend got the album for her birthday in 2000, we always listen to it when I was at her place, drawing or playing with Barbies :thatsfunny: we sang along with it so much that her big brother got mad and came to make fun of us and Britney. And I always remember that it was already winter time.

I really don't remember anything about seeing the video first time.  :aww1: But I knew that Titanic reference right away!
