Britney's VMA appearances are iconic. All of them. But people usually remember the striptease, the snake, the kiss, the comeback.. and VMA's 2002 are overshadowed.

 

Can we talk about how stunning she looked? Talk about fashion risks.. Homegirl shoews up in a dominatrix dress and managed to look hot and sweet at the same time. Her hair and makeup looked amazing and she we got King and Princess on stage together

I remember her being front page news on NY tabs the following morning for this look.  GMA followed her getting ready before the ceremony...

 

 

The quality is all  but she is adorable as ever here.

It's just overshadowed because she didn't perform but this was a time when she was as famous as ever because it was post JT breakup and people were freaking out that they were at the same place at the same time (intended pun)
