Or the fact that we are in the middle of the streaming era? If VEVO had been around back in the early 2000s Britney would be comfortable on the very top of this chart but she's long past her prime and it is normal that her biggest hits and best videos won't be watched as much as those of the current artists. Blank Space got 1 billion views compared to 80 million for Oops! I Did It Again and only a fool would say that BS is a bigger hit than Oops was. Britney will most likely continue to fall as artists like Ariana Grande and other shit nuggets continue to score big hits which lead to high streaming but that's out of our control. Do you see Madonna on the chart? Or Xtina? Or Mariah Carey? Point proven.
