Where do I even begin?! Well I have been a Britney Spears fan since 1998 when I snuck into my older sisters room and played her '...Baby One More Time' album on her CD player for the first time. I just remember being so amazed with her music and laying on the floor for hours just listening to every single song. The first time I saw her live was when she was 'NSYNC opening act and as a little nine year old girl, I wanted to be exactly like her. As years went by, my love for her music and her as a person continued to grow. She completely fascinated me. Anytime she was on my tv I would grab my VHS tape and record her. I watched all of her music videos on TRL and any specials they had of her I would watch over and over again. I had her Barbie dolls, fan magazines, TV shirts.. You name it I probably have it. I knew every song by heart and could choreograph every single dance move. When she would perform at the VMA's, I would be in my living room trying to imitate her. When a new album came out, I would beg my mom to go at midnight so I could get them. I remember when she starred in her first movie Crossroads, my mom surprised me by pulling me out of school early to see it. When Britney had her Circus tour, I got to go backstage and thought that was the neatest thing I could ever experience. When she did her Femme Fatale tour I sat right in front of her entire family, including her boys. My goal was always to meet her but I knew that there was a slim chance in that ever happening. When it came to her opening a show in Vegas, I knew I had to see her. Last year I went and it completely blew my mind. It was around that time that I made a promise to myself that I had to make my dream happen. Fast forward to a couple months ago, I got an email saying that she added new shows and that on Wednesday the tickets to meet her were almost half the price. I knew this may be my only chance so I got on my computer and bought the tickets without even hesitating. Now I am not the wealthiest person in the world but I had some money saved up and knew that it was now or never. LET ME JUST TELL YOU, IT WAS THE HARDEST SECRET I HAVE EVER KEPT!!!! Maybe 8 people knew about it and for weeks I was dying with excitement. The day finally came and I was so excited. When I arrived I was the only girl meeting her of the group. I made some wonderful new friends and if it weren't for this one guy name Joseph, I would have probably passed out. Her old friend and former assistant, Felicia gave us the tour and I could not stop smiling. I got to go on the stage and be right where Britney performs. I got to go backstage and see all of her props and costumes. I even touched a few of them. Then ironically I had a dress malfunction so Britney's stylist help fix it up for me. We got to see pretty much everything you could imagine. Then we were given a little break and I gave Felicia a letter that I wrote to Britney and she said she would give it to her right now while we wait. Finally, it came to the big moment of meeting her. I thought I was going to pass out but I tried my hardest to not go absolutely crazy! I walked up to her and introduced myself and she goes "hi, my name is Britney.." (like I didn't know) We took our picture and I was praying that I didn't blink. Then I got to talk to her for a few minutes. I told her pretty much what I wrote on here and that I was turning 25 on Friday and she wished me a happy birthday. Then I saw her mother, Lynne and her niece across the stage and told her how beautiful they were as well. She then responds, "I am truly blessed." Which made me burst out "umm yeah you are!!!" I told her she was gorgeous and then she hugged me goodbye and I pretty much died in Britney Heaven!!!! This was my 10th time to see her in concert and it was absolutely amazing. I was so close to the stage that I could see every single detail. Dreams do come true so never give up. It probably was one of the best days of my life!! Thank you Britney-Galaxy for letting me share my story! *IT'S BRITNEY B*tch!!!
