Am I The Only Person Who Thinks This Vegas Hesitation Is Staged?

I feel like the only reason they said Britney is 'considering leaving Vegas' is purely for promotional purposes. People will think she's leaving and they only have a few more months to see the show so they will attend now instead of thinking, "oh, yeah, Britney's doing Vegas for another two years, we can go see her some other time".

I really feel like the deal is already done and closed. I mean Britney said on Good Morning Britain that the "show is getting a revamp next year" and they gave an 'exclusive' on her extension. I don't see why she would say that if she wasn't indeed staying there.

Idk, I really want her to leave Vegas behind - now, that it's seen as so successful because it would be remembered this way. If she extends and the show starts to do badly then people won't let it go. And we already know that her shows hardly ever sell out anymore.

Britney, prove me wrong and turn the deal down.

Yes, I've thought that too. And also, they probably want to announce the extension with a big event, like in 2013, and in order to do that they need to give people the feeling that Vegas is ending.

Yes this was my thought as well. I'm unsure if the deal has been signed yet, but I really see Britney staying in Vegas for at least another year but with a completely redesigned show

to answer your question, no you're not the only person who feels that way :selenerz:

It could be but i doubt it, Britney gets bored very quickly so it wouldn't surprise me if she's really considering leaving Vegas. I honestly don't see her staying in Vegas another 2 years even if it's "ideal".

And i believe her team is probably advising her to leave Vegas too (seriously, money speaking, it's not really lucrative compared to a tour).

Tho, if it's extended, don't expect  a completely new show, this won't happen. Maybe one new segment but that's it.

Makes sense tbh.

Also this...

If they see that Vegas doesn't sell anymore, they should stop it because it will stain her reputation...

It really depends on the nature of the show. A world tour requires that the whole stage and the props have to be moved from city to city and that's quite expensive. If they only do shows in one place, then they don't have to think about that which means, more money for them. But then again, the theatre has less capacity than an arena. In the end, they may be doing the exact same amount of money

Briney is becoming really lazy tbh

She says she doesnt know whether she will continue with Vegas or not & now shes saying shes not keen on touring anytime soon

Im gonna be honest and I hate to say this , im not sure if u guys are seeing this but I see retirement coming as soon as this album is done

I feel like she knows what she is doing and is slowly seeking her way out

I think it is really bad PR to go out and say she doesn't know. I don't think it makes people rush in and see her now, I feel the other way around, now people are like "oh we missed it, to bad".. I don't think this is positive for Planet Hollywood having her going around and saying she doesn't know.

True, I think the "uncertainty" is because Britney's team is negotiating for a better deal and also want ppl to think it's over so they can sell tickets for the rest of this year. It all seems calculated that they have spiced up the show recently by having Britney TURN UP!!! I mean she is TURNT UP like WHOA!!!!   :soexcited2: Plus all of the social media about Album 9 to create buzz!!!   :yas:

Also all the slayage/positive press and flawlessness from the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS!?!   :thirsty:

Seems obvious that this is what's going on.. tbh.

I think Britney wants to stay in Vegas but knows it's not the right choice for her career. She knows the fans don't want it and the trouble it caused BJ. Imo that is why she is torn.

I think Britney doesn't like to travel so doesn't want to tour.

Honestly, I feel like she's planning to leave vegas because J-lo will be there soon. I feel like they wouldn't want any comparisons between the two.. t might "hurt" Britney's show especially since J-lo's shows are always so.. glittery. Britney is finally receiving the positive feedback she deserves. I don't want her to stay in Vegas if it's going to harm her in any way.
