I remember when they posted a thread like this on Exhale and no one cared about the fact that Work Bitch was a gay anthem. More than 65% of her fanbase are members of the LGBT community so I don't see

I don't think Britney is homophobic, she even said it was fine that he was gay and she tweeted about marriage equilty, she obviously knows she is a BIG icon in the gay community to. I think she was just really annoyed that he accused her of being something she isn't, which would of made anyone annoyed.

well i dont think she is a homophob, but its awful that he said that out of nowhere. he throws her under the bus and thinks its ok.

Maybe if she puts a gay flag all over her social media her fans will quit judging the genuinity of her actions. Looks like everything that has something to do with the concept of equality has to be categorized as a brand or should we say as an icon - and Britney once again won't be an exception. As a celebrity you have to have a certain behavioral pattern or something just to be accepted by your followers.

 

In other words - when it comes to being famous - you are not who you wanna be but what people want you to be.

Britney is quite ignorant about the LGBT community(well, she seems ignorant about social issues in general, tbh. Let's not forget she lives like in a bubble.) but I wouldn't call her "homophobic".

I really felt bad for Don Philip. You can see that guy has been through a hell. Being gay in the industry in the 90s & Early 2000 wasn't the same than nowadays...

I wasn't expecting Britney to say yes but after have worked with him and knowing him she should have been a little more sweet/compassionate and get up to the stage and give that poor guy a hug because he truly needed it.

Britney attitude was kinda bitchy & something tells me that X Factor was behind this to create controversy.

This!!! I can't at people feeling bad for this dude and calling Britney the bitch. This was clearly staged from the beginning in the fact that xfactor prouducers sought don out to "audition" because of his past with Britney. I feel bad for Britney, her reaction is normal after someone you haven't seen in 10+ years acts the way he did and subtly calls you something you're clearly not. And the fact that the judges were on Britney's side not his shows who deserves the real compassion.

He is very dislikable and just watching this made me very uncomfortable, so I can only imagine how Britney felt. I don't feel sorry for him at all. Even after he upset Britney he still tried to make us feel sorry for him by making a fool of himself with the security guards.  :xf8:

I will admit tho it takes the balls to do that on TV tbh. Anyways he talked to much which made it cringe worthy, if he just would of say I've been through hardships and battles because I'm gay, then it probably would of been smoother

Poor Britney ... :crying1: She hurt her so much saying those things. Basically he said she's the part of the reason 10 years of his life are wasted and only because he heard that from somebody... I think she's really caring and nice person so it hurt her to see she could've made someone anything bad.  You can see it in that blink at the end; she smiled but she looked sad. :crying2:
