Hello!

My name is Courtney and I was lucky enough to meet my idol, Miss Britney Spears on August 5th! This was an exciting show to be at because it was Britney's first show in 2 months! I decided to buy tickets the day they went on sale. I bought two tickets for my fiancé and I 7 rows back behind the VIP tables, center stage. My fiancé and I were planning our wedding for July 25th and decided to incorporate a trip to Vegas to see Britney as part of our honeymoon. About 2 months before the concert I read online that they had added a new meet n greet option on Wednesdays for $1,500 that included a ticket in the first 10 rows. With the expense of our upcoming wedding I felt bad splurging on this, but my fiancé insisted I buy the meet n greet because we were going to Vegas just to see her and I might as well make my dream come true and meet her too! So fast forward to the day.. I was soo nervous all day! At 630pm I showed up to the box office to get my tickets and wristband. We lined up and were brought inside the axis. We were then greeted by Fe (only the sweetest woman alive!) she explained we'd be going on a tour of the theater and the rules. We followed her inside the theater where she explained a lot of facts about the theater, Britney's crew, and how the show is put together with lighting and sound etc. it was very interesting and felt very personal with Fe giving the tour, someone having been so close to Britney since day 1. After we got to stand on the end of the runway and look into the crowd, we got to see some of the props including the angel wings. After that we were led upstairs to wardrobe and met Tish and another girl who are in charge of all of the costumes. We saw a whole rack of shoes Britney no longer wears and saw the shoes she still wears, including steel enforced heels! After this we were led back down to the stage and told we had about 10-15 mins to get a drink and/or use the restroom before we would meet Britney!! After the break We were taken outside the back door by Fe into a sort of parking lot. We waited for about 10 mins and received the rules of picture taking and told that we should engage Britney in conversation because we know her but she doesn't know us. So when it was my turn, I walked up to her, introduced myself and told her I was there on my honeymoon specifically to see her and that my husband insisted I meet her, she responded with "oh my god, that's so cool!" So I said I know! We took the picture and I thanked her and told her she was beautiful and then it was over. Short but sweet! I was on cloud 9 the rest of my trip! It was everything I hoped for! Thank you Britney-Galaxy for letting me share my story!
