This is actually the story of my magical meet & greet with the Legendary Miss Britney Spears. I along with my best friend have had General Admission tickets in the gold circle twice in the past year and a half and it was beyond amazing. If your going to see Britney, and your a Stan, it's just the best way to go. Other than the M&G obv but you can be inches away from the queen herself. So the last time we went, on the way back we vowed that if and when we go back, we are going to do the meet & greet package. After 17 years of this pop icon being a huge part of our lives, we needed to take advantage of this opportunity. And we did.

My friend Brenden who I did the M&G with organized this wonderful trip for all of us and deserves a LOT of credit for making this trip happen. We went with 6 of our close friends that we explained how the gold circle is everything, and they trust us when it comes to all things Spears. They had the time of their lives! We could see them the whole time smiling, singing, dancing, recording, etc. I want to tell you all about how magical this was for not only Brenden and myself which I will get to now, but for our other Britney: Piece of Me first timers.

So the day had arrived. It was happening. Both of us had moments of nervousness but overall we were much more calm than I anticipat(ing)ed. So we got checked in earlier in the day and picked up our VIP bracelet. They told us to come back at 6:30 for the tour. Again we were fine until we walked back into the lobby of Planet Hollywood. With every step we became more and more nervous. "Deep breaths" we kept telling each other. "this is amazing and we need to get it together and enjoy every minute of this." We were ready.

We were there, waiting for security to escort us into the theater. We followed the head of security for the tour who was about as cool as you can get. Very good at his job but also knows he's working with stans that are about to have their lives changed. So he plays along, jokes with Fe and the group the whole time. So he leads us into the theater and there she is, FE! We all know Fe. We all love Fe. She is just this little adorable ray of sunshine that is so excited to see everyone, and for everyone to get this magic moment with Britney. She gathers everyone around and gives an intro to how the tour will go. Some do's and don'ts, which honestly I thought there would be more of. No pictures and no touching things, which I just assumed.

Fe takes you to the stage, and there you are walking the same stage that Britney slays on night after night. It was surreal to be up there and see how many faces she can see. I looked down and said "these are Britney's scuff marks!" Brenden and I laughed but also we're thinking OMFG THESE ARE THE QUEEN'S SCUFF MARKS OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!

Next you go behind the curtain where the stage is being set up for the night. Her dancers are arriving, costumes are being brought to the quick change area, etc. you walk right up to the angel wings. They are so beautiful and they are Fe's favorite. The orb she enters the show in is suspended above. The tree, the circus ring, and other props are just hanging out right there in front of you. What is kind of cool is that the circus drums are recycled from the Circus tour. You do get to touch one thing at the end of the tour, The MATM walls. Then we went to my favorite part, and Fe's fav part of the tour, the costume room! It's 3 or 4 floors up and around the second floor you could smell vanilla candles. That's the floor Britney's dressing room is on. ðŸ‘‘ðŸ’–ðŸ‘‘

So you finally get into the costume room, and it is so surreal. This is where Britney's clothes are. You see all of them. Fe and Tish

(Britney's head seamstress) were just going on and on with Britney stories. How Britney is a secret costume designer and will sketch and outfit at lunch on a napkin and ask if she can wear that tonight. Fe and Tish laugh about how Britney changes her mind all the time, and is a little oblivious to how long a costume for a living legend such as herself would take. It's cute how they talk about her because they describe her exactly how you think she is. Exactly how you want her to be. That sweet southern girl who just happens to be the most famous pop star by night. She shows you options for each look, Britney has 4 options per set. And there are also the costumes that didn't make the cut as well. Also outfits from previous tours that Fe was hoping to have displayed in the lobby, to join the current ones. Her dress form is in the room as well and it's about the tiniest dress form I've ever seen. Also Britney's Feet are SO tiny!! So you see her shoes, all of them and they could fit in the palm of my hand!

Now it's time to exit the tour. We touch the MATM walls on our way out, the same walls Godney places her tiny hands on every show, and head to the lobby. We were told to go grab something to drink, primp, usethe bathroom and to meet back in 20 minutes.

We asked Fe if we could get a picture with her before the break. We loved her and she honestly was such an amazing energy to be around during this. She loves Britney and giving these tour so much and it's so clear. She hugged us, took pictures with us, and made us feel so welcome and special. She was everything you want Fe to be. So 20 minutes goes by and we're back. Normally they have you wait outside like to the side of backstage, but it was 106 and our security guard friend said he wasn't going to do that to us. He wanted all our pictures to look great, again what a cool guy! He chatted with our group and then the theater doors opened. It brought back memories of getting the the GA spot we coveted. Fe showed back up and said we were ready for our meet and greet. We went out the side of the stage to go over some rules, and tips for a great picture. Everything you need to know. She focused on energy. She said in a very matter of fact way that really put it into perspective. "You may know everything about Britney, but she doesn't know who you are, so introduce yourself". An actual fact that is so simple made such a difference in how you approach the worlds biggest pop star. Also she said don't go in nervous or scared of her, or else she'll be scared of you! Then made a joke about the awkward M&G pics that float around online. It's because of that reason she said! Brenden and I loled quite a bit at that one.

So we were ready to go in. We lined up, the doors open and we all just hear "she's ready." There were 4 people in front of me. My friend was one of those per his request. You walk into the stage and there's the back of the M&G step and repeat right there. The stage lights are on, and you see her ~shadow~ HER TINY LITTLE PERFECT SHADOW. We walk up one by one and Brenden turns the corner and there she is. Brenden introduces himself, and tells her what an impact she's had on him. How she has been a soundtrack to his life. For every mood, feeling, etc there's always a Britney song attached to it. She said thank you and that's why she does what she does. She noticed Brenden was nervous and said "sweety you look nervous do you want a hug?" BRITNEY ASKED HIM IF HE WANTED A HUG! you know the answer to that one. So they hugged and he apologized for the shaking of his hands and she said "you have nothing to worry about, your one of the most adorable boys I've seen in a long time." They took their picture and then it was my turn....

I turned the corner and there she is, BRITNEY FREAKING SPEARS! THE QUEEN OF POP, THE LEGENDARY MISS BRITNEY SPEARS, GODNEY, THE HOLY SPIRIT herself is looking at me. She is SO tiny!! Just everything about her is like a doll, an original doll. I said "Hi Britney" as I walked up and before I even could say anything else she says "Wow your hair is amazing, I love that color." Followed by "And I love your make up too!"

I. JUST. DIED.

I was so thrown off because she was taking the reigns here BIG TIME. I said thank you so much and I love her hair color and how beautiful she looks. She then said "I love playing with new colors and I'm inspired to try this blueish/silver you have." Then I stuck out my hand and introduced myself and she placed her tiny hand in mine and introduced herself which is sweet and so funny at the same time. So as were shaking hands she notices my bracelets. She asked "what are these on your bracelets? their so cool!" I explained these are our group of friends "sister bracelets". I told her we all buy them for each other and we all have different colors and animals. She said that was sweet and she loved them. I DESPERATELY wanted to give her one right then but I didn't want to break any rules. (You can't give anything to her, if you have a gift it have to go through security beforehand.) However I'll get to how I might've gotten one to Brit in a minute. So after the bracelet convo I looked at her in the beautiful (drop dead) face and into her eyes and said "Britney I just really have to say thank you so much, you've brought so much joy into my life with your work. You make my soul happy, and you warm my heart. I'm such a huge fan of you and I love you. Thank you." She said thank you so much, and that's really nice of me to say. I then asked if it was okay that I put my arm around her for our picture and she said "oh of course sweetheart!" We snapped our picture I said thank you again and she told me to enjoy the show.

Wow. What just happened?!? I couldn't speak. My friend was waiting for me and I saw him and burst into tears and we hugged. It was beautiful. We just met our girl! We both had beautiful interactions with her, and she seemed genuinely comfortable with us. It's like we hit the jackpot! We needed a celebratory shot! We ran to the bar and got 1 (3) lol because we couldn't believe what we just did. I kept tearing up thinking about what just happened.

So we go back in and the show is about to start. Britney was on FIRE! Confidentney, Sexney, OnyxHotelney, SKIPNEY WAS ON POINT! She even left out some choreography, just to dance around and feel it. You could tell she was feeling the energy of the audience and that's HUGE for a Britney show. She went off her usual script as well by slipping Britishney in asking if the audience wanted to get naughty? And Right before Freakshow she said the audience was so hot she wanted to have an orgy!! Definitely was feeling IT! Pretty girls was great! It's a perfect addition to the line-up.

So the show wrapped and we went to claim our goody bags and pictures. We walked up to the table where Fe was and we saw them, our pictures. We started screaming as we walked up, Fe saw us and started screaming! It was quite funny! She just looked at us and said "OH YA'LL THEY'RE SO GOOD!" We thanked Fe again and gave her hugs. She told us that she loved us, we were so sweet and to please come back. I then had an idea. I was going to make Fe and Britney part of the sisterhood. I told Fe about how Britney commented on my bracelets and how sweet that was. I wanted to give her a bracelet and if she could give one to Britney for us. Fe's face lit up and said "Wait you wanna give me one too?!?!" We said of course, she was so amazing how could we not?! She was so grateful and sweet about it. So we let her pick the color/animal and she said "I get to pick too?!?" We said of course, and we asked her to pick one she would like and what Britney might like. She took a purple for herself and a blue for Britney. And we asked if we could take a picture with her and her induction into our sisterhood. She loved every minute of it and told us that she will make sure Britney gets it.

I know this has been a rather long story to read, but I feel like these are the types of stories that I want to hear. I want to know all the details of the connections others have. And also I want anyone who is not sure about doing the M&G because of money, fear, whatever just do it. It's so worth that feeling of happiness. I'm still on cloud 9 and I'm not coming down anytime soon. Huge thanks to Britney-Galaxy for letting me share my story.
