Except, you are failing to realize that Britney does not want to take her career to the next level........how many times does she have to say it?

She doesn't care about being #1, doesn't care about how much she sells. She needs to be on a label that is going to let her be her, do the things she wants, and support that regardless of how the public perceives it. Staying with RCA Records is indifferent to me, but she needs to remain a part of Sony Music Group. Universal Music Group would NOT put up with her not wanting to promote, her not wanting to tour, all that bullshit. She'd be dropped quicker then snow in Alaska if a Britney Jean situation occurred, and you can say "BUT SHE IS BRITNEY SPEARS" - that means shit to record execs unless they actually were apart of that artist career. If she was to switch to Universal Music Group - she would not be allowed to use ANY of her material recorded under Sony Music Group.......not without a pricey cost anyways.

Exactly, Sony owns all her music and she constantly performs her old hits.

Also aside from what you already stated, I think she chose to stay with them for sentimental reasons since Barry Weiss was the only one that gave her a chance.

don't care tbh if she changes thing might be the same, she need to change her fucking team, she need a team who can push her, support her ideas, bring something good to the table.... she need a smart team who looks at both sides.. what the fans want and what Britney wants, and make it good

her team is now lazy and not really into smart moves lately! they are bussy with Slutty I need attention Cyrus

The false information is real.

First off - ADAM is Miley's Manager, Larry is Britney's. Adam no longer works for Britney. Larry still chimes in on Miley's career because he is Adam's boss, and the head of "Rudolph Management" which is who Adam works for.

It makes me laugh how much people on Britney's forums think they know what it takes to make a superstar, a superstar.

News flash - YOU DON'T.

re: "Do You Think A Change of Label Would Improve Britney's Career?"

I completely agree, she needs to dump RCA. I watched one of the most promising indie bands of the 00s, the Strokes, totally get mismanaged to the point where the members hated each other and the label and their output really suffered as a result; on Pitchfork.com (the biggest indie/music reviewer), their album's reviews steadily got worse and worse, going from their debut's stellar 9.1 (out of 10.0), then the next album an 8.0, then two 5.9 albums, and their last one a slightly better 6.1. Thankfully, their 5-album record deal expired with 2013's Comedown Machine, they left RCA and now they've reconciled with each other and will be releasing new music soon.

RCA is toxic tbh

Couldn't agree more. I personally think going Indie would work best for her because she'd be more free in that aspect, but then again, we all know she's not interested in changing things up career wise so that option is probably out of the question. RCA isn't as aggressive and strict compared to UMG and is less proactive when it comes to promotion and organization but knowing how Britney feels about her career right now I see no pluses or minuses. :verycool:

I'm not sure. Is any label good enough for Britney? Maybe she just needs a new team?  :smokeney:

I used to think it was all up to her management and then I realized the situation was completely different. Being away from the spotlight and success that'd just create more buzz is what she wants right now. What she has right now is more than enough for her and that's how she feels about it.

Britney needs a label that let's her be her. So far RCA has done that. But I agree with @ Britney does NOT care about being "next level" and fans needs to stop selfishly putting their wants before Britney's

When I said the "next level" I wasn't saying her promoting more or doing performances everywhere.
I meant "next level" on production/creativity.
Britney can do bigger things.
She could "reinvent" pop music if she wanted & if she were better managed and on a label that allow her be more creative & experimental, everyone will end up following the trend. She changed the game in the 90s and can do it again.
She used to be a trendsetter & now she's more like a follower because her label obviously doesn't care about her/her music.(Britney Jean is a proof that they simply don't give a fuck.)

Looks like I cant vote because you put RCA/Sony... I would love to see her leave RCA & go to Def Jam or Columbia records

As for Sony she could stay with them , shes been with Sony for the longest and had no problems with them . The problem is RCA (even Miley wants to leave them) I think Larry made a poor decision of signing Britney & Miley with them

Except Larry didn't sign Britney to RCA, they basically inherited her when Jive got disbanded. So her contracts and songs got transferred to them.

And Miley is never happy with anything. :4music:

We all know what happened lol , they didnt get everything transferred to RCA. All the artists that were signed to Jive had a decision to make whether they wanted to sign with RCA or not and Britney / Miley said yes .. The thing is Britney had a 10 album deal with Jive which unfortunately got cancelled because they were shutting down. So she signed w/ RCA w/ for a 1 album deal (Britney Jean) then after Britney resigned to them for a 4 album deal (stupid move)

Why would u say that about Miley? She wants to release an EP for free for all fans and RCA wont let her .. So she wants to sign to another label & so should Britney tbh ... They have poor marketting & promotion

I don't think they're being selfish XD

I think some fans don't understand the situation and wanting Britney to be on top isn't selfish its not like any of us are forcing her :mhm:

Yea I really want Britney to do something differently and be amazing with creativity :mhm:

Being a solo act like back when she debuted isn't enough to grab attention i would love RCA to let her try something new :mhm:

Wanting Britney to do things she clearly doesn't want to do is being selfish.

its not like they want her to be unhappy her happiness comes first but none of us would mind her having a #1 :P

And why is that? So you can rub it into the faces of other fan bases? What does Britney having a number one do for your life?

I mean I'm not saying I don't want Britney to have success or anything like that, but I'm not going to sit around and ponder whether she should leave her label, or do something with her career that she doesn't want. It's her life, her career, I'm just here for the ride. Where ever it goes.

because we like Britney being successful not because we want to rub it on other fan bases

Oh obviously I mean Ill go with whatever she decides to do :P but I was trying to say just because we want Britney to succeed doesn't mean that matters more than her happiness

Success isn't defined by numbers or topping the charts though. She can still be successful without a number one hit.

She only needs a new social media and website team. Its dead they wasted many opportunities with vegas.

They could have shown how her costumes are made and how things works backstage to make it also fun for people that cant visit vegas but can enjoy it through short videos or behinds the scenes pics.
