And Work Bitch was a great lead single, a bit too risky for radio and the GP, but still flawless. The rest was either dated at the time or just pure trash 2

I think the weakest point is the production, other producers might have made Britney Jean shine like will.i.am couldn't. Anyway we should appreciate Britney's personal contribute to the writing since she co-wrote all the songs. Maybe a little promotion would have helped BJ in the charts and also a different choice of the singles: Work Bitch was a nice lead single, but instead of Perfume I would have chosen Body Ache (I honestly think it would have made quite a hit), and as a third single Hold On Tight or Alien (it's a shame there were no third single).

IA BJ is not my least favorite Britney album but I feel like WB was such a good lead single that if only it was a part of a better album it would have done so well 1
