There's literally no way you can talk about the VMAs without mentioning Britney Spears. No one can deny the impact on the music industry she has made by blessing the VMAs with some of the most iconic performances of all time.

She's the one who made the MTV Video Music Awards.

She showed us all how it's done.

She's the one who brought the inner goddess out, leaving everyone's jaws on the ground...
