Re-Discovering "if U Seek Amy" #tbt

I was browsing through MV videos on YT and stumbled upon one of Britney's videos - "If U Seek Amy".

And even though I already thought it was a good MV back then in 2009, the last time I'd watched it was a few years ago.

 

Re-watching it now has made me realize how great a song it is and how amazing the MV still is today (even though it's only 480p!) Although it doesn't tell much of a story (or about this Amy person even though it isn't lol), I think it looks so much better than many MVs today.... Or... idk maybe I'm just biased. lol

 

But really though... "If U Seek Amy" is everything - cheeky, playful, fierce, sexy and pretty creative with the play on words

And the fact that its MV also pokes fun at the Fox news anchor makes the MV even more entertaining!

 

Definitely one of my fave Britney songs/MVs!

 

I just wish more of the GP would listen to/watch this flawless pop masterpiece

This is the few moments since 2008 I actually remember people not having a meltdown over a video from Britney or something. I feel like most fans actually loved it at first sight.

I watched that video a few days ago and fell in love with it all over again. I feel like it really describes Britney. I don't buy that "I'm a mom now". Britney always know how to be a tease. Saying one thing and doing another.  One of the things I love about her. Although.. I still prefer 3.  There's something about 3 that is just so intruiging.
