MMbritbritFAN Posted September 10, 2015 #1 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Im fine with people having their opinions about this vegas extension but when you bring 2007 and her skills as a mother into play, thats when things have gotten way too serious...If this thread gets deleted fine but there needs to be a line somewhere. We created Britney Spears, but to take that platform, we must also take some responsibility in her downfall. She didnt want to be this mega pop star, just an entertainer. She is finally doing just that! That pedistal we put her on was too high and even when the signs were there early on that she might not be able to handle it, we still pushed her higher and higher till she lost balanced. Again, im fine with everyone having different opinions on Vegas, but don't bring her kids or her meltdown into the argument to validate your anger! 4

Britney was the one that decided to shred her innocent image to put on a more womanly image because she didn't want to be seen as a little girl anymore . She didnt want her image to be like Taylor swift or Carly Rae Jepson singing & dressing like a innocent little girl on her way to her 30s (which is embarrassing) thats why I understood Britney all the way with her choices . The only thing us fans do is support the artists and get them to where they are at and thats it but we do not create them. Britney is in a really cool place now and thats it .. The only argument ppl make is that she wants to be with her kids more , which theres nothing wrong with someone saying that .So i honestly dont get where all this bs is coming from 2

Being a fan of someone doesn't give them the right to dictate how that persons career/life should go. No one is forcing anyone to be a fan, and if you don't want to be anymore? That's fine, it's their choice. But bashing Britney because she didn't do what you wanted her to do is incredibly childish and selfish and the ones that can't see that will understand it when they've grown up a little bit. 6
