We Just want her to be happy again....

 

Only until she is and doing what she wants to do, then we want her to become a robot again and do what everyone else wants her to do, yet we sit here and complain that her father and management makes her do these things (hypocrites much?). She's given her fans 17 years of great music, memorable performances, Her fans have gone through the very best, and the very worst, now they're just getting the real Britney, not the one who wanted to be on top of the world, but one who doesn't see her career as her 1st priority anymore, and would rather do this as a hobby (side thing) and concentrate on her kids first by being a good mom (which is something she used to get KILLED for in the past, remember?).. She might not be in the limelight anymore, and that's exactly how she wants it, She might not be the #1 female artist in the world anymore, (been there, done that), but she has left a legacy for little girls to follow, someone who can come back from a mental breakdown and make it again, someone who can be an inspiration to little girls all around the world to look up to. 

 

. We as fans think we are entitled to these things, but we're not, yes we buy the music and we pay for the tours/vegas etc, but without HER making the music, there's none for you to buy, without HER touring in the past and doing the residency there's no tickets for you to buy... So we as fans did not in any way shape or form create Britney, her talent and her ability to be loved by millions because of the way she is allowed it.  it's not like she's retiring, she's still doing shows (so what if they're not all sold out?, so what if she "flops"?).. Newsflash, every single artist at one point in their careers has and will flop (Celine, Mariah, Madonna, etc).  Fans fell in love with Britney not for her iconic performances, but for the music (which all of a sudden people now care is not #1) and because of the person she was in the past, she's now that person again, with responsibilities to her children that come first, It might suck for some new fans and even some older fans, but you know what would suck more? putting her back on top of the world she doesn't want to be on, forcing her to go on tours she doesn't want to be doing anymore which makes her unhappy, which is what leads to exactly what happened with her in the past. I'd rather her be healthy and happy because she deserves it.

 

You know whats funny about this whole situation though... Britney fans think they have the right to make fun of her, talk bad about things she decides to do (in this case Vegas), but when other fans do it, they think they should stick up for her, when in reality, they're not acting any better than non fans. Its quite ironic and pathetic.
