Thanks for letting me share my M&G Tale Britney-Galaxy!

First let me start by saying, like most of you, Iâ€™ve loved Britney since day oneâ€¦17 years!!! Thatâ€™s more than HALF my lifeâ€¦thatâ€™s crazy! I waited the 17 years to meet the Queen. I wasnâ€™t able to see her earlier shows, mostly because at that age you are at the mercy of your parents and what their wallet is willing to do

My very first Britney concert was the Circus tour and Britney was coming to Pittsburgh, about 2 hours from where we liveâ€¦I will never forget Britney coming down in that Circus outfit and my friend and I bursting into tears, we had splurged on Front row seats so it was like we were staring right at herâ€¦we also saw Femme Fatale of course.

When I saw Britney announce her Vegas residencyâ€¦I knew I had to go. I had no desire to go to Vegas before this point, not big on gambling so my hubby was very excited that he would get to gamble in Vegas (He says Thanks, Britney!). He surprised me for Christmas last year with tickets to see the queen and a trip to Vegas for Valentineâ€™s Day 2015. Our seats were good, but not great. I was so grateful for the trip and Piece of Me was amazing. When we got home I couldnâ€™t get the show out of my head! We HAD to go back. I HAD to meet her!!!! In April the hubby did itâ€¦he purchased the M&Gâ€™s!! I danced around the house like a crazy personâ€¦it was really going to happen! Much to his despair, he bought himself a M&G ticket too, I was terrified to go it alone. Little did I know, Britney fans are some of the coolest, nicest people you will EVER meet! I could have totally done this alone because I made lots of new friends in the line!

We arrived in Vegas on September 1st and I barely slept a wink the night before the show. When we arrived around 5:30, we waited in line for security to take us on the backstage tour. We met Felicia or Fe as everyone calls her, she is just sweet as pie and I love her so much!!! We walked on Britneyâ€™s stage and saw some of the props. It was just one of those moments that is very surreal. I looked at my husband and I was just so awestruck. He laughed at me. Then Fe took us upstairsâ€¦which smelled of Vanilla the second we started on the steps! We got to stand in Britneyâ€™s costume room, which was just incredible, everything was so shiny!!! We got to see the dress she wears in Everytime up close and it is just COVERED in Swarovski crystals. Absolutely gorgeous. We met Tish who works directly with Britney on her costumes. We then had a minute to go use the bathroom and grab a drink. I had to get yet another â€œBritney cupâ€ filled with a cocktail to give me courage to speak to the Queen! We met back in the Axis theater around 8:15â€¦I tweeted my picture of me with Fe and it popped up on the Axis theater screen, that was awesome!

Then it was timeâ€¦they took us outside, which I canâ€™t figure out WHY they make us stay outside to hear the rulesâ€¦it is hot and WINDYâ€¦luckily my hair holds up pretty well to anything, but the other girl in the M&G with me wasnâ€™t so lucky. After being told the rules about not to touch Brit without asking, etcâ€¦we were finally taken inside. We waited another what felt like forever for it to be time. While we waited, someone with a group of people rushed past us onto the stage..my hubby said â€œThat looked like Neil Patrick Harrisâ€â€¦now at the time, I had no idea who that was or what he was talking aboutâ€¦then when NPH came back, he rushed past us all again and it was definitely him! We could see him at the VIP tables from our seats laterâ€¦people were speculating that it was Justin Timberlakeâ€¦lol, nope, it was NPH in a hat.

When it was finally timeâ€¦the door opened and we could see Britneyâ€™s shadow behind the screenâ€¦it was incredible. I thought I was going to scream. One by one they went on to the stage to meet herâ€¦and just as quicklyâ€¦they returned. Fe was standing on the stage where you enter to see Brit, she said â€œYour hair still looks amazing even after all that wind, Bless your heart!â€ Sheâ€™s so cute! It all went so fast, I only remember her face, her little handsâ€¦and that smileâ€¦and not much else of my surroundings!!! I honestly couldnâ€™t tell you where the camera was, who took the pictureâ€¦and who else was on stage. Britney is such a presence, I was overwhelmed, not intimidated like I expected, just awestruck. I imagine I was staring at her like a googly eyed fool the entire time. I shook her hand, introduced myself. I asked her if we could do a â€œkissy faceâ€ pose, my friends make fun of duck lips, so I figured it would be funny. Britney immediately put on her best duck lips/kissy face and came at meâ€¦After the picture Britney goes â€œI love duck lips! Nobody will ever do this with meâ€ and she laughed that amazing laugh! Whomever was standing behind her pointed to the exit but I planted myself in front of her and we chatted, she is shy, but if you initiate conversation she will open right up. Sheâ€™s so sweet and amazing. I didnâ€™t remember to tell her that I had just gotten the â€œBritney heartâ€ tattoo on my wristâ€¦I was so excited to show herâ€¦and I totally forgot. In the moment, it goes so so fast. My husband said I stayed up there for probably 3 minutes, but it seemed like 3 seconds. I wanted to ask for a hug but they had been VERY mean sounding about that since someone had kissed her a few days prior, so I didnâ€™t want to upset her. I told her how amazing she was and I touched her hand again and was on my wayâ€¦on my way out she goes â€œYou have the prettiest hair!!!â€ *Insert that heart faced emoticon here..hehe.*

Next it was my hubbyâ€™s turn. He likes to say he didnâ€™t have fun, but he did. Look at his face! He asked her to do a â€œFist Bumpâ€ and this is what she didâ€¦so he went with it, he was definitely awestruck too and simply said â€œMy wife loves youâ€ and ran off the stage, hahaha.

This was the best experience of my life!! After the concert was over, I just couldnâ€™t stop being happy. On Saturday morningâ€¦I said to my hubby that I really would like to see POM one more time before we left. He wasnâ€™t really interested in seeing Britney a 3rd time this yearâ€¦so he asked if I would be willing to go it aloneâ€¦I was more than willing. We bought a ticket online (Re-sale, so we paid a lot over face value, but sheâ€™s worth it!), I got in line around 5:30 and was about 30th in line. I immediately started chatting up my fellow line people and making friends, you need a group to get and keep a good spot in that GA area! It was a blast. Since we now officially know that we have Brit in Vegas for another 2 years, I know for sure I will be doing another M&G to tell her everything I forgot and to get a hug!!!!!!!!
