The song was written by Spears, William "will.i.am" Adams, Otto "Knows" Jettman, Sebastian Ingrosso, Anthony Preston and Ruth-Anne Cunningham. "Work Bitch" achieved pretty good international success, debuting at number twelve on the Billboard Hot 100 marking Spears' fifth highest debut sales on the chart in her career, while peaking within the top ten of the charts in Belgium, Canada, Spain, France, Finland, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Mexico, South Korea, Turkey, Venezuela and the United Kingdom and the top thirty of the charts in Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, Russia, Sweden, Slovakia and Switzerland.

The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 12, marking Spears' 31st song on the chart and the fifth highest debut of her career on the chart, and her seventh in the top 20. It also marked Spears' 19th top 20 hit and overall her 23rd top 40 hit. It also entered the top 10 on the Hot Digital Songs chart at number 6. "Work Bitch" sold 174,000 copies in its first week, marking Spears' highest first-week sales since her 2011 number-one hit "Hold It Against Me".Britney's song "Work Bitch" has sold over 1,000,000 copies in the United States gaining Platinum certification.

Now to this day everyone uses the iconic saying "Work Bitch" thanks to the legendary Miss Britney Spears.
