"I'm a Slave 4 U" is a song off Britney's third studio album "Britney", released in 2001. Produced and written by Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams, "I'm a Slave 4 U" was released on September 24, 2001 as Britney's lead single. The song peaked inside the top ten in almost every country that it charted on! Today, September 24th, 2015, the song and music video both turn a staggering 14 years old!

The Music video made its world premiere on MTV's Making the Video, the same day the song officially hit the American radio stations. 'Slave' debuted at number one on Total Request Live two days later! In the video, Britney and 15 dancers perform the same choreography seen in her MTV VMA 2001 performance. Britney is portrayed as a slave to the music, who dances all day until she and all of the other dancers are sweaty and dehydrated, forcing them to search for water. The iconic music video was nominated in three categories at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards for 'Best Female Video', 'Best Dance Video', and 'Best Choreography', but unfortunately Britney left with no winnings.

To this day, the iconic dance moves are still imitated all over the world and is one of the most recognized dance moves in pop culture of all time.
