I wouldn't say she's the new Britney because she hasn't done anything "legendary" or iconic, but I do think that she's the only popstar that really resembles her! They've even dated a teen pop guy named Justin

Also, she's incredibly safe, which epitomizes the entire generation of new pop stars: safe. Brit took career risks, and some of them paid Grammy dividends and others tanked at the box office; nothing that Taylor/Katy/Selena/Demi/et al. does is anything short of focus-grouped and calculated stuff. Pop culture's boring rn tbh and that's why nobody's the new Madonna/Britney/Michael/whatnot. They're too safe for iconhood, and they'll always be like that.

Well she's defiantly a Britney archetype, & has Britney-Esque music but I think she lacks the superstar awe power Britney had including the stage presence & performance level
