BlackoutEgo Posted October 2, 2015 #1 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Looks like Britney is also working w/ Derryck Thornton aka Big Tank for album 9 Hes a writer/ producer , he writes & produces songs for artists such as Christina Aguilera, Chris Brown, Rihanna, J Cole ..etc . So this tells me Britneys album is definitely going to be urban and I cant wait 1
Jack Spears Posted October 2, 2015 #2 Report Posted October 2, 2015 A couple of " urban " producers means the entire album will be urban, no. I'm not here for Urbaney unless it's Blackout Urban. Otherwise Britney should make OIDIA 2.0... bubble gum pop gurl!

Otherwise Britney should make OIDIA 2.0... bubble gum pop gurl! I agree, "Blackout urban" or like 3-4 songs won't be a problem for me but overall I'm here for pure pop sound. or something different we haven't heard before 1
Caroline77 Posted October 2, 2015 #6 Report Posted October 2, 2015 What did he do tho ?? Besides 2 songs for Xtina, i didn't find anything produced/written by him for the artists you mentionned. He doesn't have wikipedia page and there's almost nothing on his IMDb page so i doubt he worked for a lot of artist. I hope B9 won't be urban tho.

Well 'Pretty Girls' was w/ Iggys producers and britney isnt working w/ them so thats good Sis youre listening to BJ ? Wow the thirst is real 2
I_need_me Posted October 2, 2015 #10 Report Posted October 2, 2015 "Oh Mother" and "On Our Way". I don't really like On our way Yeah, On Our Way is one of those songs that are not "bad" but don't stand out on an album either, but Oh Mother is one of the best from Back To Basics Christina probably had major imput on those songs tho, and they're also from almost a decade ago, so the song he might do for Britney will probably be very different!

BlackoutEgo Posted October 2, 2015 Author #15 Report Posted October 2, 2015 I'm waiting for blackout 2.0 Same ! And we just might finally get that 1
heartcore Posted October 2, 2015 #17 Report Posted October 2, 2015 i want blackout 2.0 in that i want it to be as fresh, innovative and challenging as blackout was when it was released. going in a more urban direction could help her to fulfill this.
VerySoon Posted October 2, 2015 #18 Report Posted October 2, 2015 tbh judging by past years' experience i'll get excited when i hear it. as we know it all can get scrapped any minute
howwasisupposetoknow Posted October 2, 2015 #19 Report Posted October 2, 2015 I know a majority of these artist are "Urban" but a I remember DJ Mustard saying working with Britney was him going outside his comfort zone. Maybe this album won't be urban or electro pop.

BlackoutEgo Posted October 3, 2015 Author #21 Report Posted October 3, 2015 tbh judging by past years' experience i'll get excited when i hear it. as we know it all can get scrapped any minuteWell by the "past years experience" William was executive producer & did the scrapping because he wanted Britney to be more "personal" This time its different & Brit Brit is taking the wheel . The last time Brit took the wheel Blackout happened
BlackoutEgo Posted October 3, 2015 Author #22 Report Posted October 3, 2015 I know a majority of these artist are "Urban" but a I remember DJ Mustard saying working with Britney was him going outside his comfort zone. Maybe this album won't be urban or electro pop.The reason why he said that is because Britney is his first actual major artist.. If u add up all these producers work this album is definitely going to be more urban . I mean come on lol we got danja back

I mean come on lol we got danja back I would love any type of album as long as it was produced well and alot of these guys are great producers. I took it as he was going outside the box and he did say he wanted to be known for being more than just a urban producer.

I guess shes going to be telling a story in that song (maybe a ballad or mid temp song)

I guess shes going to be telling a story in that song (maybe a ballad or mid temp song) That would be cool, let's just hope the best material makes the final cut and/or one of these guy is executive producer ( even though I want Britney to take control on this one!)
