I feel like I'm the only one who LOVES it. I must admit, the swing looks somewhat cheap (like most of POM, sadly), but I honestly love it. The colors, the swing itself, Britney on it, etc.

In all seriousness, it's one of my favorite props Britney has EVER used on stage. :mhm: I can't at how negative and hateful this fan base is being about a cute and fun prop that Britney probably enjoys :byebitch:

It's a matter of personal opinions and diversity in general. Not everyone is going to like the same colors/designs/textures you like. Not liking something doesn't make me a hater. You can always express your dissatisfaction as long as it's not insulting and disrespectful. In this case the majority of the fan base is not digging the swing, and, from what I can see on here people are just joking about it and laughing it off.

It can actually get much worse and you know it. The infamous M&G wig, anyone?  :entertainme:

I really like it too! It fits the whole "Circus" concept and if you think about it it fits the theme of the song aswell. Lucky is about a girl that seems to be really happy but it's very lonely on the inside, so the swing kinda creates this artificial, fake, happy picture of a girl having fun when she's actually singing about being sad, you know? If you're a Marina and the Diamonds fan you'll know what I'm talking about :)

I'm indifferent about it, tbh. I feel like it's getting a lot of unnecessary hate though, and it's really fucking annoying. This fanbase in general has been pissing me off a lot lately. But, like I said in another thread, the only issue I have with the swing is that it looks like a circus tour left over, and I wanna know why it was never used in that tour.

I don't love it. I think it's funny, yeah, it looks cheap, but it fits her cheap costumes, so I don't even mind. At least she's closer to the audience. And I still believe she should do the original choreo instead of just seat there, so I feel the same as I felt before the swing.

But I wasn't even aware that people hated it :lolll:

I hated the DLMBTLTK swing from FFT, though. Well, not the swing itself, but the fact that the dancer was there just distracting. Or the couple dancing during Perfume, and I think it was DLMBTLTK too from Dream Within a Dream that had a couple. Those are the things I really hate.

I think it's cute and I don't think it looks cheap. I've always felt like people on here just like to complain in some vain attempt to get team Britney to pay attention or whatever. Britney has never been designer this, high end that (except for her cars and houses) and honestly Vegas wasn't going to change that. I think one of her goals on the Vegas Strip is to change the perception of what a Vegas show has to be. It doesn't have to be all glitter, diamonds and gold especially because that's what's expected of a Vegas performer. She's doing it her way and in the end I bet you she'll be remembered for this in a positive way.

It's cute :) I wish that she was performing a different song though because Lucky has this sad feel to it and the cute swing not so much. I'm not sure which song would fit better though. I wanna go? OLL?

The funny thing is, is the original "seat" she sat on, is actually a leftover Circus tour prop from Radar. I do wish they would have brought more things like that back to this show from other tours or even some costumes that represent some old ones.
