i did not know this, also in 2016 in ireland they are bringing into effect  legislation  for compulsory micro chipping of dogs.so ownership of a dog will be easily proven i don't know what it is like in other countries.add that to the fact a person can easily fake whip lash as there is no scan,blood test or x ray to prove that a person is faking it. Also most personal injury boards pay out like 30,000 for minor whip lash never mind severe. But the saving grace is if you get pet insurance most policies  cover up 250,000 payout if you get sued. Kind of scary that allot of people let their dogs run loose with no knowledge they could be sued.
