Little Mix just LOVE Britney Spears and hit back at Pretty Girls 'flop' critics

The collaboration between Britney and Iggy Azalea didn't do as well as expected in the charts but Perrie Edwards says everyone concerned should be proud.

The collaboration between Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea on Pretty Girls was considered a flop, peaking at No16 in the UK chart and No29 in the US.

But co-writers Little Mix didn’t care, according to the girlband’s Perrie Edwards, 22.

She reveals: “I don’t give a crap who thinks it was a flop.

"Britney Spears sang our song. That’s not a flop to me.

“I feel like Britney is the only person who can get away with that line, ‘All around the world, pretty girls’. (The Iggy shade though weusay.gif )

“They absolutely smashed it. They owned it.â€

Aw, we reckon Little Mix could totes get away with singing the same lines.

Pretty Girls UNITE!

Little Mix recently spilled the truth on how they felt about Britney Spears recording "Pretty Girls". Check out the AWESOME things they had to say about our girl:

Yep, according to Billboard's records, it charted higher than Radar, Shattered Glass, Break The Ice, Outrageous, Me Against The Music, and Overprotected - and only slightly below Lucky (#23) and I'm A Slave 4 U (#27).

Yeah, but keep in mind, those songs from the Britney Era, to the beginning of the ITZ era, performed terribly because of her radio ban at the time. If those songs had been given radio support...Lucky & Slave, along with Overprotected, would have been Top 20 hits.

Fair, but it still outperformed quite a few of her other singles that were considered "fan favorites." Pretty Girls didn't do *that* terrible on the charts, besides having no real staying power in the U.S. Also, I'm not convinced Slave would have done much better than it did. Sales weren't that great for it and it didn't chart well in other countries.

And for the record - I think that song is godawful, but we can and should bash it on facts.
