What Happened To Britney's Appearance With Michael Jackson?

Seriously, I am shocked right now!

I was watching on youtube the entire concert event for the 30th anniversary of Michael Jackson's career in 2001. Finally the "The Way You Make Me Feel" performance was starting: at first there was Michael's solo part with his iconic dance moves and then i was ready to be delighted by the Princess of Pop reaching the King with all her beauty, but instead of Britney this basic bitch came on stage and start to dance and tried to act sexy... who the fuck is she?!? 

I've never seen this version of the performance, where the hell is Britney?!? 

Could someone please explain the whole story, like why this bitch is up there instead of Britney and why they didn't air the Britney's version of the performance?

Britney had a contract with HBO that said she couldn't perform in a primetime special until her "Live From Las Vegas" concert aired. So she filmed this special and they took her out of the original live version but added the performance when it re-aired later.
