I like Alien so I wouldn't mind at all if she releases the "unglitched" version as the 3 or 4 single from B9 with some really cool MV

If it absolutely had to happen (Contracted Single like Radar w/ B&A), then I wouldn't mind it. 
However, I would want them to send it back to William Orbit, and have him update it or remix it, and then release it.

With that said, I don't want it to happen.

I wouldn't mind if she releases it now, before B9 drops. It's never too late for the third single.

 

And actually, I wouldn't mind if she releases it as a B9 single, but only if it doesn't steal the place to other amazing songs, like Radar did (Unusual You, Shattered Glass, Kill the Lights, most of the bonus tracks from Circus were way better than Radar). I mean, if she released 2 new songs and Alien as the singles, and that's it, I would be very pissed. But if she released 4-5 singles, and then Alien, that would be ok.

I think it would just be a very lazy move, and a poor excuse to not provide new music. New tunes Britney, not the same ones we already have. We need to fall in love with new songs. Radar was excused because it got the single/video treatment. But please, not again.
