I agree, all the Rca artists are flopping hard (except for miley) and i have a feeling they are being rough on their artists :S the reason Jive stopped working was bankrupcy, RCA is gonna end up doing the same i they dont pay more attention :/

Miley is flopping slowly too tho...

Umm Baby One More Time is over 30 million - so this cannot be correct - I believe last figures were 31.5 correct me if I am wrong here..

those numbers about BOMT are claimed sales...i'm sure the real numbers are the ones RCA showed.

I think the main problem is Sony and all they record labels.

They not invest on their artists at all & either give any creative freedom to the artists on their album processes & the managing is pretty shitty.

If you research a little you will find lots of artists that are or have left a Sony record label complaining about it.

I can tell you for sure that it's not Sony, but it is certainly because of labels, management teams and their decisions.

The problem is, Sony is going through alot of changes right now, because of that hack. ALL Areas of Sony are being improved.

It'll take time, which is why Britney & her team may be waiting & have constantly been changing plans.

Adele, Becky G, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Fifth Harmony, JT, Nicki Minaj are all Sony Artists who are not having any issues right now.

The problem with all of this "Label bouncing" that you guys are discussing is the fact that they are all owned by Different Music Groups, and artists just can't bounce from label to label, unless it's under the same Umbrella corporation. It's alot of Legal shit to completely change Music Groups.

Sony Music Group owns: Columbia, Syco, Epic, RCA, Legacy & Masterworks. Along with Nashville & Latin equivalent labels.

Universal Music Group owns: 19, Bad Boy, Big Machine, Cherrytree, Glassnote, Hollywood, Island Records, Def Jam, Geffen, Interscope, Polydor, Shady, Virgin & Walt Disney Records. Along with Nashville & Latin equivalents.

Warner Brothers Music Group: Atlantic Records, Parlophone, Fueled By Ramen, Warner Music, WB Records. Along with Nashville & Latin equivalents.

Most Major Labels are owned by Universal, or Warner Bros, and that is where Britney would need to go, in order to get on a label most of you guys want. She would need to finish up whatever contract she has with RCA/Sony before even considering it, not to mention, Universal would have to pay OUT THE FKING ASS for Britney's ENTIRE Music Catalog, which is both expensive & extensive.  It's not necessarily the Music Group, but it is definitely the Label & the management team....and sometimes, EVEN THE ARTIST.

Britney has 100M WW in CLAIMED sales (Certified), it is possible for the ACTUAL sales to be off.
