Academy Awards are for movies. If Britney were on Grey's Anatomy, she'd be nominated for an Emmy in the Guest Actress category. Gaga isn't a Guest Actress on AHS, she's the lead female (a regular role, not a guest.) She'd be nominated in the Lead Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Movie category
