I started to watch the show and I like it  
 
And it's not a latino stereotype it's more like a telenovela actor stereotype/ parody  which doesn't offend me at all cause they actually do things like that

Jane the Virgin was AWARDED with a Golden Globe for BREAKING such stereotypes and showing the women of ethnicity to be empowered and on the small screen. The acting is great, Gina Rodriguez as Jane is probably one of the best actresses I've seen in a very long time and Jaime is hilarious as Rogelio De La Vega(s). It is a telenovela at the end of the day, the acting has to be over the top and the show is bound to be cheesy. It has so much charm and humour and silliness yet it still has its depth and believability. If you haven't watched it, you can't judge shit from little snippets like these. In all honesty, I think it is absolutely perfect for Britney and I am so excited to see her on it. The first season of Jane was absolutely stellar and while the second one is slightly weaker and the story plot is getting repetitive, it is still imao one of the best currently airing TV shows. Even my boyfriend, who hates shit like this, is absolutely into it.

 

I literally signed back on Universe just to moan at everyone for this.

I actually FORCED myself to watched the first episodes when the tv show came out just to give it a try , so yes i can say it's pure shit. I couldn't handle more than 3 or 4 episodes. I absolutely don't care about critics and the award that show had, i don't like a tv show because of what people say or the award it gets I have a great sense of humour but this show isn't fun or whatever it's just dumb, and the actors are bad, it's not over the top it's just bad and dumb.

I've never watched the show, and probably the Britney episode is the only one I'm watching, I like Gina just for the interviews though. But that's not my point. I don't like him. I've seen his telenovelas, and he always acts the same. He's always been that annoying even when he hosted Operación Triunfo. I just don't find him funny at all, he's not a natural born comedian, but he insists in doing comedies (just as he insists to be a singer ). And out of all the Mexican artists out there, he was the last one I expected Britney would ever end up working with.
