What a cute picture!

I truly do not know how to start to explain this experience but here we go and I appreciate Anthony for letting me share this once in a lifetime opportunity!

I have been a huge Britney fan since I heard “Baby One More Time” on the radio my sophomore year of college. She along with the boy bands at the time changed the landscape of music, fashion, and energy of the late 90’s! The music of my high school years were filled with grunge music, not that there is anything wrong with that but I loved pop music!

I will never forget “Crazy” premiering on TRL and it exploded the dance scene. I had a college party in my apartment and my roommate and I performed the routine to the video! There were oohs and ahhs!

Fast forward 16 years. Hard to believe but I have been a loyal fan of Britney. I am a positive thinking person and her talent and music help instill that mentality. So going to Vegas this weekend was a about her!

I stayed a Planet Hollywood and it was great! I saw her show on Wednesday night in the right general admission on the floor. AWESOME EXPERIENCE! Doors opened at 7:30, I didn’t get their until 8:00 so I was afraid I would be at the back of the floor, but there was plenty of room! Excellent views!

So to the Meet ant Greet! I was very nervous to meet Britney. She is my Idol! Felicia, her assistant, conducts the backstage tour. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She explained that Britney was just like any normal person and that she was shy so tell her your name and shake her hand and just talk to her!

One thing that I was impressed with is the fact that there were only about 27 people in the meet and greet experience, so it made it more intimidate.

So after Fe explains the meet n greet we line up to meet Brit. The security team was extremely nice even with the job that they have to do to make sure Brit is protected. I had heard about what happend in France so security I am sure was on high alert. They had you empty your pockets before you went to meet her. I had a Britney doll in my coat pocket, circa Opps I Did It Again Tour 2000. The security person asked if I was going to take the doll, I said I would like to. He told me I could not take it with me for the meet and greet but I could tell he liked it!

I am very quickly next in line to meet Brit! I see her silhouette behind the wall. She is in a hat and I am excited!!!!

Once it is my turn I walked to her and she spoke to me first! She said hello! I said, “Hey Brit! My name is Andrew and I am a huge fan! I told her that my husband and I got married on her birthday in 2013 in NYC. She said, “Very cool”. We took our pic and I was able to put my arm around her. I told her my husband was next to meet her and she said, “I can’t wait to meet him!”

Well, my husband likes to tell jokes. So when Will met her he told her the only person that I love more than him his her! He said she was flattered! That is why his is talking in his pic!

In closing, the meet and greet far exceeded my expectations. Britney is the sweetest person I have ever met. She is a good southern girl and I am happy she has people like Fe and others in her group that are incredibly nice and humble. AND THANK YOU FE FOR BEING SO NICE AND THOUGHFUL!
