The fact that "Til It's Gone" could be greatest ballad of all time...   The lyrics are totally masterpiece, the melody is totally masterpiece, and the production is totally mess...   When I think this song with piano it almost makes me cry. There was a channel on youtube named RiotLuke that makes acoustic versions of the songs. He made Passenger, Perfume, Alien, Hold on Tight and done it with BMS. Shall we message him to make an acoustic version for Til It's Gone too?    I know in the production they thought it will be club-banger but without promotion to album it didn't be successful and only banged our ears.  ​

Till Its Gone and Alien should've been singles before the BJ era died down after Perfume and Tik Tik Boom should've been released as a promo single.. I think those would be the only songs that would've sold well

It has a terrible, dated beat, and while it could be considered personal, the lyrics are hardly 'a masterpiece':

I do agree tho about it's production.

I really like that song and the concept of ballad/dance, but yeah, the production is a mess. I keep saying this: BJ could've been an amazing album if they had hired a better production team because all the songs had a lot of potential ok, maybe chillin' withchu didn't   but yeah, I can enjoy the whole album from time to time, it's just that the thought of how great it could've been bothers me

Omgosh I LOOOOOOOVE TIL! It's one of the few good songs on BJ. 

 

It should have been a single... At least end the era with it tbh. So sad it didn't get the chance.

 

And It'd be interesting to hear a ballad version.

Funny thing. I was in the habit of singing along to this without the skips she does over the words same,came,gave, etc so I would just stretch it out like "saaaaaame". Honestly I'm no vocalist but doing that instead of breaking it up the way they did makes the song sound even more heart breaking. I get the feeling that was the way it was originally intended to be sung just that whoever did the vocal production decided to do it way the way we hear it and it totally kills the song's vibe.

She could and should do a new version of this song as midtempo and just add another verse to give the song more content.

If Britney could do that with these lyrics it would totally work.

I don't even mind that it was a club banger, I think it would have slayed as it is! They never should have released perfume tbh... I don't think the general public really cares to hear ballads from Britney. They are not her bread and butter as they put it... 

I would have liked the singles to have gone like this:

(TTB, Body Ache, and Perfume as promo singles before album release)

 

2. Till It's Gone

3. Alien

4. BA or TTB which ever one because I like them both equally.

Lord, I thought I was the only one who did not like this song. I skip over it (the rare times I do listen to Britney Jean). It's a bad, annoying song.

I really like how their voices fits perfectly to each others.  Especially on the Til It's Gone.    Myah's voice protecting Britney's vox on this song.  Well, I don't support  what they did to BJ too, if it's Britney's album, Britney had to sing it but it happened...
