Think about it. Everything she has done aside from Britney Jean has been so out of left field and shocking when it comes to pop. Today's pop stars are so safe and boring. Britney's first video featured her as a 16-year-old in a catholic school girl outfit singing "hit me baby, one more time." She posed in her underwear on the cover of Rolling Stone at 17! (You can read that entire article here). She'd create so much controversy and then say, "Who, Me?"  :bomt:

By her third album she was doing R&B-inspired songs, dancing with snakes, and being a "Slave". She was already iconic (worldwide!) before she was even legal in the US, and when she performed or dropped a video the entire world stopped. She performed with MJ, made out with Madonna, did the Super Bowl with Aerosmith... her fourth album had a song about masturbation that wasn't cliche or try-hard (when will Areola, Salsa, Poot, or any others?).

The entire Blackout era speaks for itself, tbh.

That was basically the closest thing the world will ever see to a punk rock pop star  :smokeney:  :smokeney:

Even after the breakdown, Godney released songs about getting pig roasted by Peter and Paul and boasting that every guy and girl wanted fuck ha.

When will others?  :tomh:

Rihrih, Poot, Xtinct, Viley and others all try so hard to be badass, and it comes off as ridiculous.

Britney is a bad bitch because she genuinely gives no fucks. She does what she wants when she wants. She wears no bra, refuses to promote, rocks messy weaves and works with whoever the fuck she wants to work with. She always made music that people didn't expect, and when she was the underdog her music made people respect her - whether it was working with Moby and R Kelly on ITZ or using dubstep on the lead single of FF.

Basically, we need NoFucksGivenney for the next album  :likethat:  :likethat:

Come slay us with ya badass spirit and Iconic attitude, Godney. I'll pretend Body Ache never happened  :crying1:

I never got why bomt video was considered risqué cos she was dressing like her peers in school.

Because it was obviously sexualized, with the shirt tied up (Godney's idea) and she was singing the lyrics "hit me baby one more time" while shaking her soon-to-be-enlarged titties. She was 16 years old and grown men were drooling over her  :thirsty:

No lies detected @ , I LOVE YOU  :crying5:

I love the fact that she makes these smart moves - she basically made EDM and Dubstep mainstream  :tomh:

I don't understand why the GP just won't admit it  :overthis:

Liking Britney is honestly like coming out. The reactions are like " Oh wow, why?! " like...what?  :zoomzoom:

But if you say I love Beyonce it's like yea, yea...generic.  :omg1:

I mean if Britney personally want's to sell a lot of albums she needs to win GP's hears back.  :crying1:

This is so true tho! If the Taylor's and Selena's would have come out around the same time Brit did they would have been laughed off the stage and not given a second record opportunity! Pop Stars today don't thrill me at all! Totally Vanilla! No excitement!  :mhm:  :mhm:

We need Britney to take control and release the amazing album she's able to deliver.

I think Britney Jean gets way too much hate though. Come on guys.. Work Bitch, Perfume, Till It's Gone, Hold On Tight, Don't Cry. I like it :)

I really only like WB + the ballads on Bindi Jade tbh  :bj:
