Did You Know Toxic Was Sampled?

I'm shocked right now... I've just found out that "Toxic" has a sampled from an old Indian song named "Tere Mere Beech Mein" (who knows what it means!) released in 1981 - surely only in India and not worldwide!

 

 

 

Fortunately only a few very small parts are sampled, the rest of the song is all original! 

 

MIND YOU: the Indian song is boring and annoying as fuck... I couldn't even listen to it until the end

I'm not sure if they sampled that song, I just think that a violin's sound is very distinct, so two songs that use them the same way will obviously sound similar to each other

Btw, I've always been fascinated by indian music, how can they sing in such a high pitch

I didn't hear any similarities, but I would love Britney to experiment with Indian music a bit more. She sort of did it in Outrageous and it sounded good.
