Would You Be Upset If Britney Wasn't The Halftime Performer?

Honestly, I wouldn't be. As much as she is slaying at POM right now serving us attitude, stage prescence, choreo and just being herself again, I don't think she's ready for such a big show with so much publicity

 

We all know what would happen if Britney didn't sing live or perform choreo to her 1998-2004 standard, she would get criticized left, right and centre from the press, and the GP and honestly I don't think she needs anything else to feed into the GP's perception that she's a washed up popstar. And they would defo compare her performance to Katy and Beyonce's which is the last thing I want people to say is that theirs was better than Britney's - who should be regarded as the best entertainer of our generation.

 

So unless she is gonna attempt to sing live and put in 110% into her performance, I would prefer her not to perform until she is completely ready. Even at that I don't see Britney doing such a big performance when she clearly doesn't want that sorta fame anymore

 

Sorry, I don't wanna be a debbie downer on the whole thing but I think we have to be realistic before all the meltdowns

Tbh, no, because she wouldn't be headlining it.
If Britney does it, either way i'll be happy, but I would much rather her perform as a headliner, with her own special guests.

Well, I would be upset, but not on the "oh, I really thought she was gonna do it this year" way, it would be more of a "damn, how I wish she'd do it one day", if that makes sense
