JennyFromTheBlock Posted December 3, 2015 #6 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Happy Bday to the messiest and most hated album, not to mention the black stain of her otherwise flawfree discography 1
TheOriginalDollz Posted December 3, 2015 #7 Report Posted December 3, 2015 I love how this album gets so much shade! besides the few will.I.Am Tracks this is def one of my favorite Records from Britney Vocally. Favorite track - Hold On Tight. ( Just because it didnt sells millions doesn't mean it was not good ) It was and is a good record. 5
TheOriginalDollz Posted December 3, 2015 #8 Report Posted December 3, 2015 I cant at you fans calling this her worse record her personal gift to us she recorded. Britney Jean > Blackout . 2
FUDGE Posted December 3, 2015 #9 Report Posted December 3, 2015 ' The record features guest vocals from Britney's sister Jamie Lynn, T.I., and will.i.am. ' And Myah Marie? 2
heather Posted December 3, 2015 #10 Report Posted December 3, 2015 The hate Britney Jean gets makes me really angry. It wasn't as bad as "fans" make it out to be. I still listen to this album in a regular basis and actually prefer it to overrated albums like blackout. Hold on tight, don't cry, now that I found you, brightest morning star, perfume, til it's gone, alien - are all amazing songs 2
Cookie Time Posted December 3, 2015 #11 Report Posted December 3, 2015 #2toMyahnity lol Til Its Gone and Hold on Tight are my fav tbh. And I love Myah so much actually, this is not her fault, last words belongs to producers. 1

PopMusicJunkie Posted December 3, 2015 #14 Report Posted December 3, 2015 I cant at you fans calling this her worse record her personal gift to us she recorded. Britney Jean > Blackout . That's the problem right there, tho, she didn't record a large portion of it nor is it close to being personal. 4
Ooh-Ooh Britney Posted December 3, 2015 #15 Report Posted December 3, 2015 This album gets too much hate. Work Bitch, Perfume, Hold On Tight, Don't Cry, Til It's Gone, Now That I Found You, Alien, Brightest Morning Star are great tracks 1

I didnt think so either until I just had my 2 year break up...I found myself relating to Britney Jean A lot and I actually got it . A lot of the vocals are Britney ...people keep saying the other bitch but who was there to see this? Receipts?? Please show receipts. And yes this is one of her best Vocally . 1

Fair enough, not going to even dispute how you relate to the material, it's all subjective. However the subjects she touches on -- sex, love, breakups, fame, etc -- are things she has done much better on previous albums. She didn't explore anything new sonically or lyrically, except her faith. There's some decent material but ultimately it's a demo album. Receipts? Your own ears for one. There's a clear discrepancy with how little Britney actually sings versus Myah Marie. She did a lot more than backgrounds on Britney Jean, I'm not even mad at MM because she did her job and fooled many. Including long time (?) fans here. 2
3isacharm Posted December 4, 2015 #20 Report Posted December 4, 2015 ' The record features guest vocals from Britney's sister Jamie Lynn, T.I., and will.i.am. ' And Myah Marie? I was about to say the and i did a search to see if someone had already posted it and surprise didn't let me down 1

I disagree with you when it comes to vocals but yes I can agree the album really helped me get through hard times and the songs are very well written and emotional! Don't Cry actually made me cry!
